kellysguy Posted April 6, 2010 Posted April 6, 2010 Dearest One, Good day to you, I hope my mail meets you in good health. Please do not be surprise to receive this letter. I am coming to you in good faith with believe that you will not let me down in this unpleasant situation. I will be thankful to you if you could understand my plight and touch your heart to help me out. I am Miss Nina John the only child of Late Chief & Mrs John Nado of Cote d'Ivoire. My father was a wealthy businessman who deals on Cocoa and Diamond. My father was killed last year on his way to business trip. The enemy who killed my father was not discovered till now and it makes me to be afraid because I might be the next target by the enemy. I am the only child, my mother died two years after my birth and my father did not marry another wife. My immediate uncle has made live difficult for me since the death of my father because he wants to claim my late father properties which rightfully belong to me as the only child. It is my belief that my wicked uncle has hand in the death of my father because of his greedy attitude over my father's wealth. I am contacting you because of the sum of US$8.9M (Eight Million Nine Hundred Thousand United States Dollars) which my late father deposited in a bank here in my country with my name as the next of kin. The wicked uncle did not know anything about the money that is why i ran out from the family so that I can contact you to assist me to transfer the money into your account because the bank did not agree to release the money directly to me. The bank wants me to provide somebody as my guardian who can receive the money on my behalf according to the content of my late father's Will. I will be glad to give you 20% of the money for your assistance after the transfer, and furthermore you will have share in the profit of the investments. Please contact me with this private mail ninajohn225@live.fr Thanks, Yours Nina John Wonder if she drives a Z? Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted April 6, 2010 Administrators Posted April 6, 2010 Hmm there was a couple of members with nina in their name who registered on the site with a German IP address. I've removed this user and blocked the IP address from further access to the site. Quote

DatPilot Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Pauly i seriously hope you are joking! Spamming like this is a VERY good way to obtain info on a target and exploit them. ID theft is super easy, especially once you have bank account details, address, car regos, vin numbers, names, numbers etc... Trust me, after taking part in a few investigations on these type of scams, it is popping up so much more nowdays there isnt enought man power to stop it. Last person I tacked ended up being a brazilian exchange student in london, useing a travel agents logon details and from an internet chatroom nextdoor to a western union money transfer branch. He did the whole 'please help' routine, then tried to sell me his 'uncles' prado in adelaide, for UNDER $10,000, so that the Aus Govt wont lodge it as a high end risk etc. i could go on forever. makes me mad. The pm or email ones are norm these days easy fix "delete" button works well If I was in charge of those websites, I would definitely be doing my best to tackle that issue. I'm sure its harming their business as a result. I hate spammers, but honestly the only reason they do it, is because there is a lot of money to be made from it. A lot of the time it comes from 3rd world countries where scamming $5000 out of someone is a very healthy profit. My g/f works for Western Union and they have all kinds of scams going on all the time. I hate it with a passion too, the best way to tackle it is to make it extremely difficult for them (you can never prevent it all) and they will more than likely look for the easier options. The forum currently has a PM message flood limit so hopefully that will help reduce any PM spam members get, but please do let me know if you guys get any kind of spam through this website and I will do my best to look into it.
