My old man was going through some old slides and he came across some of his old 260Z 2+2. Ever since I was a kid he'd tell me all about his Z and all the great times he had in it - including his atempt at breaking 200km/h in the desert somewhere. I dare say he didn't make it, but he likes to say otherwise!!

From these snow photos I can only imagine the rust from salty roads, and the poor guy 20 years later trying to cut it all out!

Anyway, I thought I'd post them for you guys to have a look.

I also like how you can see other old cars in those photo's I noticed the old Corolla Ke20? I think, almost looks like a TE27 :).

Wow, Cool pics, ITs almost impossible for me to think of how a Z like mine was New being that

im 18, And my zeds Twice my Age!

Talking about where it started for myself though, It started at an American pic of a slightly modified 240,

With the owner standing infront of it looking all happy.

I thought they were pretty cool But it was only when i was Working Early last year Refurb'in the floor in Big W and saw Sach's 240 idleing out the front of the shopping center I really Truely started With Zeds, Strangly since then ive had an empty bank account :l...

thanks for sharing its wicked to see old pic or even movies back in the 70s when Z were brand new.

few month ago i was going through one of the VHS of home videos. year was 83. footage is very good and clear. pitty no Z but my old mans 74 929 Hardtop looked so damn clean. not to mention my uncles HZ monaro. but seeing the old geminis in showroom condition same as ford holdens and chryslers sure makes a nice flashback  i was only 5 but i do remember the 929 quite well and that day.

i should scan some pics of my old mans previous toys. chev impala, XA and XB falsons, RX3 and RX4 and the 929 hardtop (the ones woth mentioning)

I've got some period in-car footage of my Dad racing round the old Hume Weir circuit, that I should upload.

Not that anyone on here would have heard of the Hume Weir circuit...
