luvemfast Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 I've got video from my car as I come onto main straight. Tom's out of car, car totally ablaze! Recovery vehicles rocketing towards me. I shoot of track onto grass. Heart breaker is right! I think my mum was videoing from spectator point. Might have actual incident on camera. Car was absolutely beautiful and soooo close to registration. I think everybody wishes Tom the best. We all feel for you mate! :'( Quote
garvice Posted March 30, 2013 Posted March 30, 2013 Yep unfortunetely it was mine. I am fine (apart from a bruised ego) which everyone tells me is the main thing but my heart is broken atm. Was on my last lap at the last corner coming onto the straight and just went in too hard and ran out of talent trying to see the top speed i could reach down the straight. Back wheel caught the edge of the track whixh sent me towards the inside and i didnt get off the gas early enough. Front corner hit the tyre wall which turned me around and hit the rear onto the solid wall.
