luvemfast Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 lol there have been 2 zeds sell in aus in the last year over 100k , you guys don't really no the pasion some have I agree, I think a genuine 432 would sell. Quote
Fairlady Z Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 Lol ive opened a can of worms here love it. I personaly will spend 70k plus on genuine 432 or 20k for rough hako replica. I dont think either would be that bad investment unless we hit recession. Even if do that be last z i sell if forced to. Still waiting for numbers to come back and if genuine well we see If not may just wait a bit more and hunt down a roughy hako that needs work and bring that over. Can get reasonable ones with 3l strokers and triple carbs for 30k plus delivery and ORC. Quote
620Z Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Sounds like you need something in between. A Zed with a V8 in it. Then you get the best of both worlds and still faster than your Porsche but with the "something different" label. Go on make me an offer. Quote
Fairlady Z Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 hahaha thanks Craig. If it had VH in it maybe. though i think your motor be nice in my Camaro well i have a fast enough z with my ZG replica. if i want faster RB26 can be slotted in. but we see. maybe its not too late still for that. HS30-H Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I personaly will spend 70k plus on genuine 432 or 20k for rough hako replica. 70k AUD ( what's that, about 6.8 million JPY? ) probably not enough for a really nice PS30 these days. It might get you one that needs around another 30k AUD spent on it though. If you want to buy a genuine PS30 ( as opposed to a re-shelled replica ) and you want it to be a good one, then you'll need to do a fair bit of detailed research on the model before pulling the trigger. I would wonder if your sourcing agent truly knows his stuff too... And what's a "replica Hako"? All C10-series Skylines are 'Hakosukas', so it either will be a Hakosuka or not a Hakosuka..... Quote

Fairlady Z Posted March 21, 2013 Author Posted March 21, 2013 bit of an update on this particular car. confirmed genuine and few thing here there not from the right era but it is fixable ie seats and few small items from later Z.. At the moment it has been pulled of for sale owner want to drive it after it has been rebuild. my details are with the guy and most probably be for sale end of next year suits me well. In mean time time to save up and fix my other cars so if it goes for sale again im ready to pounce. Quote
