  1. I have previouly asked for a front radiator support or front clip, a set of front a right guards all for a 73 240Z. Still need them Gav. Also a 73 centre console. Can easily send you some cash when needed. Send me a pm when you are ready please mate.

  7. Hi Guys, I am in 2 minds here so bear with me. I am in 2 minds regarding using the EFI hardware ITB's or using a Plenum type manifold with a 80mm or so Throttle body. The engine I am currently building is a L28 stroker with a planned 230HP at the treads. I was told by my Engine builder that the ITB setup will create better off idle throttle response, slightly more HP and a smoother idle. My main question is is it worth the extra $ to go ITB and why is it better to go thst way. I couldnt care less about period looks, loyality to brands or simple answers like I just prefer X. Just want real mechamical facts. Dont bother mentioning Webber carbs or Jenvy cause not interested. As far as cost goes, ITB setup is over $3000 and webbers cost this so I cant care less about the Webber, Mikuni or Dellorto route. The custom Plenum route will cost me around $1500 including machining etc. Only interested in injection. Who caan help? Obviously tuning is on top of this.
  8. I know this is an old post but bear with me. When I bought my car 3 years ago it had a right hand mirror attached but the mirror head broke and was dented and somehow was lost, but the stalk is still attaced to the car. Question is, are the left hand heads in the states the same shape, if they are I might be able to flip the head 180 and attach it to my stalk. Does anyone know if this can be done?
  9. The reason I want to go with the LD 28 is that the ID of the runners is 35mm vs the L28E being 30mm, A big difference. I intend to match port them, weld in some injectors bosses, weld on a Throttle body adaptor and is will be a good thing. something different but still Datsun/Nissan to keep it period correct with injection.
  10. Hi all, Chasing a LD28 inlet manifold of a diesel LD28. Plans are to mount about a 70mm throttle body and injector bungs to it. If anyone knows where one is please let me know. Having no luck finding one at present.

  12. This car was advertised by the owner in Albany for 54k now it is in a caryard for 58k, extreamly nice car. Has been my oic Z car for sale over the past 6 months, just dont have a spare 60k, my car needs 25k spent on it.

  17. Hi fellas The console that I have I think is a Series 1. I dont have a photo at present. It is fibreglass and the gear stick hits the front edge on the console when trying to install. It has the choke and throttle lever in the console plate. Dont have the fuse box cover though. My car is a feb 73. Is the series 2 diffrent. The box currently is a 71B if that helps. Did the S2 have the cutouts in a diffrent spot to the S1. Lots of questions are unanswered at the moment. Any help or photos of the diffrences are appreciated.

  23. Hi guys, I have a pair of fibreglass guards in great condition on my 240z that I would like to swap or buy for a lair of metal ones if anyone has any. The are currently on my 240z but they have the reflrctor of a 260z mounted in them. In great condition.
  24. Still interested in my original list of parts Gav. Bonnet, L&R guards, Radiator support Panel and a Feb73 centre console. My car is a feb73 build.
