Yeah, the beans are growing on me. That said, I am still cutting rust and 'de trolley bumping' (dtb) the first one so I have lots of time to think/drink about it.

Both 14 inch. Not sure of width - i think 7 inch.

See photos of the wheels. Both cars are white, although one is stripped. Not sure what colour I will paint when finished - time will tell.

When I purchased my 2 x 240z's they came with a set of jelly bean mags and a set of spoke style (like an mg look). I hated both of them when I got the cars and was just going to sell them, but now after drinking numerous beers and looking at them, they have grown on me. I don't know if I am nuts or not but I am thinking of restoring one set for my first car. My question is- have any of you seen these on finished 240s and how do they look? Do I need to check into the nut house?

Meh! Not sure how to feel about this one - I sort of understand everyone's frustration, however, placing a wanted add on this site is how I purchased my 2. I don't even remember what I wrote on my add, but I do know it was probably lacking detail (that is just me). I am a 240 guy and only follow classifieds for them and am often surprised at prices they sell for. Sometimes I am surprised at how expensive, but sometimes the opposite is true. One thing I can say is that I was amazed at how many messages I got from members when I placed my wanted add. To be fair and honest, a couple of the members that contacted me would still have their Z'ed for sale as the $$$ they wanted amused me. Just wish I could find my wanted add now

Yep hoist would be great but.......... It will be a slowish start for me as my business takes up so much of my time, but I will try and do a little bit regularly.

Finally, after months of drinking beer and looking at my 240 and then drinking some beer and looking at it, searching photos on the net, drinking some beer, reading the many great posts on here and drinking some beer – I finally start pulling down the old girl. Even found a 2 cent coin in the first minutes of work – bonus! Only issue is that since the last time I played with a car in a serious way, someone has installed a beer gut that gets in the road at times. Ahhh well.
