  2. Cheers thank you very much
  3. Cheers do you know the part number?
  4. Hi Guys, I'm in need of a lower door hinge for a 240z on the Drivers side. I'll buy both upper and lower if you have them. Mine are really sloppy on the drivers side and are making lining up the door and front fender impossible. So if you've got some that are pretty good with minimal play / slop i'll grab them Also I'm in New Zealand so if you are willing to ship let me know Thanks Karl
  5. Pm sent re quarter windows
  6. Sorry to Hijack but what brand are those? Need some new wheels for my 240 as well and those look pretty nice
  7. Pretty sure its just an earth for the stalk. Just did the plugs on my set that came out of a Fairlady Z-L and it was labelled as an earth. Should have a spade connector on the end
  8. I've got my windscreen sitting right next to me in my bedroom and my rear glass behind my dresser All i've done is they have towels wrapped around the edges then a blanket over top of that to keep the towels in place. Drove 1400kms with them like that in the back of the car and they were fine.
  9. Datsun racing parts catalouge.. May be helpful in your racing class dispute or endeavours http://www.ebay.ca/itm/DATSUN-Vintage-Competition-Racing-Parts-Catalog-1974-240Z-510-610-710-1600-B210-/400930621063?hash=item5d5953c687&vxp=mtr
  10. Thanks Gav have been looking for someone doing fibreglass door cards as I'm in the same boat as Rev with only the drivers side...
  11. Car looks MINT enjoy That 5th photo is amazing looks so good
  12. Spent a little bit of time on the Nz z forum registry. Highest HS30 was HS30- 102878 (but then there are only about 6 people that have specified there chassis numbers, its mostly regos, registration and build dates and owners names)
  13. no z wiring expert but it looks like the previous owner has 'updated' the fusible link wiring maybe and added new relays for headlights, taillights and maybe an aftermarket radio.. maybe they blew up the older ones and had to replace?
  14. Could always stand on the corner with a pair of fishnet stockings on Lmao But in all seriousness, Keep it, there must be other ways to fund your business venture. Even if you just moth ball the car in storage for a few months/ years you'll be glad you kept it when it comes time to play
  15. Just watched 'A million ways to die in the west' Wasn't too bad if you like Seth Macfarlane comedy. American Indian for 'Fine' turns out to be Mila Kunis who knew
  16. http://page4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/d163650938 early Choke lever and bracket buy now 120,000yen
  17. I'm truely surprised how hard a time you are having selling these to be honest, especially with all the wanting a 240z or 260z 2 seater posts on the forums. I know its a lot of work but you are basically getting 2 cars for the price of one... Anyway good luck with the recovery of your hip Patch and the sale of the cars.
  18. Hi, I was stuck in the same boat as you looking for one, it took me 6 months of looking and finding nothing... then as I sell the car magically 2 pop up here in New Zealand.... Your best bet is to look for someone wrecking a 260z but expect it to have some normal rust, or PM nat0_240_chevZ he had a post up a few months ago about making them. How bad is your one? Karl
  19. Hey mate, Priority number 1 should either be getting some photos up on this forum or getting one of the guys off the forum who's restored a car like yours to come over and give his opinion on it. If a 280zx is your dream car don't let anything stop you in building it!! If the car is too far gone perhaps as suggested find another shell and switch over the good parts from this one and turn 2 into 1. But as I said we can only speculate as to how bad or not so bad the rust is until we get photographic evidence Karl
  20. ohh come on Gav, there was that half cut up shell on Gumtree a while back for $1000. could be just what he or she was after.
  21. Thanks for the replies guys. Forgot to add what they came off lol. They are off an S31. resistor looking one is the non-factory amp shunt/ resistor (thanks Retro Z and NZder) the box one is sounding like a speedo buzzer (Thanks again NZder). Just have to figure out where the shunt/ resistor goes now as the plug appears to have been cut off... Karl
  22. Hey Guys, I have made myself up a coloured wiring diagram for the car and have managed to label almost all the bits and random wires. However I'm not sure what these two are? I gather this one is a resistor as it has what appears to be 100 Ohms printed on it. Would this be the speedo resisitor? Then this one has Kanto - Seiki Japan 21600-AJ5015 on it. I have no idea what this is? Any ideas/ help will be much appreciated Old mate Google hasn't been the most helpful Cheers Karl
  23. Why not V-tec yo?? Just kidding I'd personally go 2jz to stand out a little bit from the crowd. The platform has great after market support as well as the above mentioned reliability. There are plenty of Rb Z's around the only differnece really between rb and 2jz is do you want to keep it inside the nissan family? Or put a hemi in it lol (sorry couldn't resist, would be neat though)
  24. Hey Guys Chucking this up in the hope someone has a pair in the garage. Also need the guides / runners that aid the window moving inside the door. Cheers Karl
  25. $28744.78 Aus There you go George Apparently one of the guys on NZ Z club has seen the car previously, has rust in the usual places allegedly
