    Cheers guys. Instead of rebuilding my old dizzy i just bought a new unit. Thanks to lurch for the advice as well No more misfire and now loves to rev.

    fuel or vacuum. i had a lot of leaks when i put mine back together. my dizzy is also worn and wont rev part 4k but runs fine under that.

    Was unsure what i wanted out of the cover Gav. I do have a few spare so will get one blasted down the track but i do have something on order from Japan which should be turning up soon, just arrived at my sister's place and she'll send it over with some other stuff i had to leave behind

    I need to renew my distributor. I got 3 options, rebuild standard unit with pertronix(already using petronix) rebuild 280zx unit(needs a few parts) or buy an after market option. Most people are pointing towards this way http://performanceignition.com.au/t/coils . would like to know what other people have done and pro and cons please.

    drove over 400kms yesterday, was worried about my first long trip but everything worked great. My dizzy needs rebuilding though.

    thanks i want to do these old cars justice. Many broken necks haha. Everywhere i go i get people out the window or coming up for a chat. Thanks never the right offer though camera is fixed via suctions caps and this is the camera i use http://www.dji.com/product/osmo. pretty cool piece of gear but still need to sort out some settings Cheers i was goin to do this to a 240z but i bought this at the time instead. still prett keen to get a 240z or a 260z 2 seater and do the same.

    Have you sprayed 41V before? or a candy at least? I'm using PPG waterborne paint these days so can't comment of dupont supplies.

    compression test included? head/block combo/ km's/ every been touched. Cheapest i have paid is $50 and dearest was $400 with a gearbox. i wouldn't pay more then 600 for stanard untouched motor.

Only problem is we're unsure if they accept non japanese speaking people without a guide as it worded funny. Once we do the tour i will report back to you

    Hey guys, still got a weird misfire goin on. Installed a afr gauge today to help with tuning down the track as well. Car isn't registered yet so needs running in still but unsure if that will affect to much rebuilt stock L24 73 240z carbs 1 3/4 turns out and both balanced fine. pertronix kit new plugs/leads 10' timing Bp 98 fuel Vid

    small update. flares are on Got exhaust done but still need to pick the car up
