  1. I use Nissan in Nambour/Qld for my parts. We use them through work so they put up with my silly request but they do know there way around old cars and always hunt for what ever i need.
  2. Was wondering what should go there? 3 screw tops as well
  3. Got them water blasted, have had other stuff done and i love the process. I keeped one carb complete and used that as a guide and re installing all the other parts and pulled that one apart as i went. There was only 2 different length screws (only prob 3mm lenght difference) and everything else only really has 1 area it can go. Hardest part was the the spring area as there is a heap of parts in such a small area. I didn't bother with the throttle shafts yet. Unsure if this will bite me but wont know till i try and get it running. Price wise it has only cost me about $300 to do the rebuild.
  4. I used paint stripper on my whole car then sent it to the blasters in bare metal. This way they know what there looking at. We have had 2 cars previously extensively damaged by 2 other companies attempting to sand blast them :/ Also tried soda, does have its benefits but it also has down sides as well. Acid is great as it gets everywhere but u have to make sure u get paint and rust proofing everywhere as there will be bare steel in all the hard to reach places.
  5. Powder coating does have some good points but also some bad points. Personally i will never get anything powder coated. I painted all my crossmembers is 2k instead.
  6. had the same error but got a email saying it went in.

  9. I have a long list of people who want stuff done haha. The line is a factory line on gtr's as seen here. I have gone to alot of detail and copied this technique. Most people just hack and weld and be done with it. I even made a new inner arch to match the quarter
