I have been talking Johnny a fair bit so if you catch up with him tell him Adam said hi. I have a few parts on order from him to I'm sure he will be back around here in the future.

Well here is some more parts updates. Smoked headlight covers (eBay) Brand Spanking New 2+2 center console. (Warren at All Z Parts) Finally fitted the fender mirrors that I got from Johnny (FairladyZ) as my second hand front fender came from Warren (All Z Parts) as well. Now there is some more stuff sitting there that I will update later including the Air Con setup and also some stuff from Hayden which hopefully I can finish picking up stuff from him this weekend.

Iron Lady imports is tied in with Kristian at iron chef if I remember correctly. If it is tied in you can't go wrong as Kristian is a great guy to deal with and will help out in anyway. Don't know if the good old HPI magazines are still kicking but he alway use to write an article on importing in each issue.

Just went and picked up some parts from Hayden and will be heading back for some more. I haven't been able to sleep thinking about the collection he has and also his 260z instead of promoting dreams is keeping me awake thinking about it. Will get some photos together once I finish grabbing the last of the stuff from him in 2 weeks. I do have a couple of current orders I am expecting soon so will have some updates hopefully later in the week.

I'm building my first zed as well which is a 260 2+2 as well. I started about 7 months ago and mainly been stock piling parts for the build. Plenty of help around on the forums as I have found already including Scoota, Lurch, FairladyZ just naming a few but pretty much every member is willing to help where they can. Start a project thread so we can all see your car get reborn as well.

Hope you all had a great day with your families and loved ones. Sadly Santa didn't get some zed parts I had been waiting on here in time or drop off the 12k for the 2 seater 260z on eBay.

Looking at it on my monitor it appears to only be the doors that don't match which is one thing I would question the guy over. He has owned it for a long time but the looks of things and I am a big fan that you will get the original motor with the car as well as some other spare parts he has around. 240z prices seem to be all over the shop these days I am actually wondering what they are selling for because I see some listed for a long time ranging from 15k to 60k.

Will still grab the compressor off mark as it will be handy to have a spare anyway. Alan if you think I'm better off checking out the other system I will go that path.

I do love that one just don't have 20k.

The early model metal ones are rather easy to get but the plastic ones are not so easy. Noticed MSA currently has the plastic ones as unavailable

alright here is the parts that I do have. Compressor Bracket Blower Fan (really not AC related but meh) Some form of heater box or something (sorry I suck at parts) Condensor (with only one line on it). So if anybody can help me out with whats missing either by letting me know what I need or if you have some parts that would be great.

Just putting the baby to sleep at the moment but will get pictures of what I have and update the thread shortly. Pretty sure I need a compressor (I have the mount).

there is a fair few R31 rear brake setups on ebay. You still have to modify them to suit but looking at the forums it doesn't look to hard. I have my set here just haven't modified them.

Hey guys I am chasing an air con setup for my 260z. I do have some bits and pieces to it but if I can source a complete setup or if you have some parts laying around let me know as it could be something I am missing. Cheers

That's what made me think the holes has been welded. I could be wrong though as I am learning about the ins and outs of Zeds as I build this one.

Thanks for pointing that out but it looks like they have been welded up as on the passenger side it looks like a pretty good template to recut out. The drivers side had minor hit so the welding looks different. Will try get a picture tomorrow. Either way I will get them work as I have them here anyway.

Some more minor parts updates. The custom lenses are now done from Klearz and if anybody wants some reproduction lenses I recommend Jason to get the job done, he doesn't just do clear but smoked or OEM look as well. Also on the dome lens he does the milky white look as well but my original was all good so got a clear for something different. Will hopefully be getting an L28 package in the new year even though I just picked up a reconditioned L26 block for a steal. Also got an owners manual finally but it is 1 year off my zed but hey it's good enough. I have some r31 skyline rear brakes to go on the car and will be looking for some bigger ones for the front shortly as well. Just wondering if it was anybody on the forum or if anybody knows the driver of the zed that was doing sprints around lakeside raceway today? I was there attending a skyline christmas charity cruise (my other car I love) and let's just say even though I was surrounded by some very nice skylines I pretty much had to run to the fence to watch this car. It sounded very nice and seems to rather quick. (Sorry couldn't find the photo bucket thumbnail option within the app).
