yer only the inlet side and just role the exhaust side so it has on sharp edge ...9.5 and e85 and you will have a monster at 15 psi on 3L you can run so much timing makes for a engine that feels like it its 6L and high comp

mmmm its so hard to find these problems over the net ... i had a engine a wile ago that had a the same problem and it had a small crack in the head it was fine for 20 min then it would get very hot, so i think u will have to look very hard and most likely have to take it apart ...... but i have also had a thermostat do it to

well that just friendly banter ...... the Rb25 is a good little donk but be careful it will cost a bit, lots of mods to make a efi run in a zed ,,,,,but lots of fun and like zedman said there are lots of parts u can get to do the job, and the hard part is the sump and pic up and making the gear box x member and tail shaft but all these things have been done and there are lots of pics on the site

hi garvice first pic is a comp head with big valves and flows 310 cfm and will go on my NC28 as for the compression yes is lowers it, the step in the chamber helps turbulence at low rpm and boost ...but as things get going it can overheat the intake side of the piston and u will see det marks on all gtr pistons on that side, so this mod helps remove det that you can not hear and you can run more timing and make more power for the same psi,,,, if you wont you can buy pistons that will bring the comp up for race fuel with a 9.1 ratio with the mod to the chamber with the stroke and bore and the piston i have ordered this motor will be 8.5 /1 and will take 20deg timing at 20psi on pump 98 without the mods to the camber you can not get 14 degs timing

more pics just a note that the chamber mods for mild motors 15psi you can do the inlet side and race motors do both sides for high boost 20 +psi on 98 pr fuel this mod will let you run up to a extra 6deg timing....

this is the mod on the chamber ......i will remove the steps on both sides of the camber

well work on the Rb28 this week ,,, more porting and more porting lol and i have modified the chambers so we can run more timing than a standard head this will let us make more power and the engine will run cooler ,work on the ports will be same as the GR A cars and the cams will be as well ...... this will be a hell of a fast car

AS Gareth said there as good as most will need for club level stuff i have a cm billet one for my motor that is half that weight but its 4 times the price ....you will pay $ 2500 for a AP racing twin plate and $ 800 for there flywheel this is as good as it gets for a Lseries ...but the azcar one will do the job on 99% of the club cars and ,Gareths car would have as much power as any out there so if he likes the way it works i think its probably a good thing

well iv finished the porting and now it off for new guides and seats and some work in the chamber

OK there will not be any cooling problem if u have the tune and cooling set up right there is no problem ... my turbo set up on the dyno had problem getting hot ,,

are u talking about the oil pickup if so you will have one on your motor as they are on all Lmotors and, all motors

this morning i made the turbo Drain and feed lines and did some portwork hope to have the head finished next week

sorry i have not keeped you up to date iv not been so well but iv got all the bottem end put together so hears a pic or two; off the girdle and the spacers that you need to make it all work
