OK the linkage on all auto like that can be lengthened .. mount the shifter where it feels right for you and make a rod that extends the original linkage,,, remember if it gets in the way move it ... that's the way to make it happen .....what i mean is if you have to cut or weld just do it ,,,,,, the linkage can be as long as you need it. just make it longer it wont Chang the way it works

hi mate just blend the seat in to the port u need to work that area use the cutter with crc on it and work the short tern a bit then get a strip of Emery and work it back and forth to make it smooth

scoota i have lots of KP gaskets u are more than welcome to one

i use the steel jap gaskets with all my motors, like jamo i like to use the oem KP gasket but when i build a l28t that see 25psi and 350kw i wont it to stay together and if u o ring the block its hard to rebuild if it goes wrong. and the steel gasket pulls down tighter it does change the block so i use a torque plate with a gasket in when i hone the block. i no it works as these motors don't breath and make more power than other ones ,,,

yer people use them with 3 bond and then block the oil passsage and kill there motors all the time ....it can be done mmmm but there are much better things outthere now and there not that expensive and u can re use the steal lam ones if u need to ......if u need a gasket scoota i have some i give the standard ones away ,,i have some porformance ones there mate if its hi out put thing..

there old tec i will no use them on a motor mate they leak and u will have problems not Worth the hassle use a metal one no problems with much better seal

mmmmm a good 253 makes 120 hp on the dyno and a good l28 that i build will siver all over that stock my motors make 130hp and a real one make 260hp ill have a l28 please

hahahaha if you wont to wreck a good car go for it a stock L28 auto will be faster

just a hint ..use crc or wd40 in the port and on the cutting tips stops them clogging works a treat,as for the cam i have not seen big defence in the cam when u go to big they drop lots down low ,,, if you get the comp up and run a solid roller its a diffrent animal. but if wont a good increase with not lots of trouble the 224 cam with 20Th of the heads and port job they make some good power ...the ports are $1000 at Higgins cnc and work OK ,,,, if you do them be careful as the intake port is real thin in the walls ,the ex port needs lot of work they also like 1.8 rockers as this opens them much faster

the cam for street in these is tricky i like 224 224 on 112 for street it nice to tune and get the job done
