All About Trimming at Slacks Creek. Takes time though if he doesn't have the car in his workshop. It is only a side line from his main work with mobile homes.
If you want to make a set you can borrow mine to use as a template. They wouldn't be hard to make as there is no fancy angles. Dumped the ones off the parts car as it had a hit in the front. Should have kept them and you could have bashed them back into shape.
Fitted some inside bits today and am really happy with the result. Going to be bitch to keep clean so will have to invest in some disposable overalls for anyone who wants to sit in it.
Hey fellow Z nuts, as I have said the 20th Nov is the only date available for me and the use of my place as I have work commitments and other Christmas functions to attend. Shaun you are welcome to come early and have a steak, but I need to know what is happening by tomorrow night at the latest or I am out. I understand this is a busy time of year for everyone and if we can't make it than it maybe a good idea to organise a new year get together starting from now. As i can see not many people are interested at the moment only the diehards. Please reply by Saturday night as I am out of town next week.
If it happens at my place on the 20th it will byo drinks and a plate and chip in for the meat. Plate can be a salad or sweets or munchies. {chips etc} See how we go. I am at Loganholme just to mention the location. If it is a goer I will post address etc. Do you agree Steve.
Hi, the 20th is the only weekend left open for me. I have shed with pool table, a BBQ and room for Z's. Steve is organising so need to know this weekend if you's need this venue.
Thanks Dave, now all I have to do is get the trimmer to turn up and finish his bit. After that install headlights etc., bumper, check and tighten all bolts etc under car, roady and rego, tune up and off we go for a drive.
Great news. I resprayed the front guards, bonnet etc to day and got the best match up for a novice painter. Last time I used a different brand of thinner so I got a new batch of paint mixed and used the same thinner as last time at the same ratio and bingo. Has to be slightly rubbed yet and some more clear applied but I am over the moon with the result. Was expecting to rub the whole lot back and start again but you can get lucky sometimes. ;D
