Hey Tim this is what you need for that 70's look or my mate has a very nice metal one to upgrade to the 80's. But you would have to put an octy strap around it to keep it on. Cheap rear spoiler as well.

Hi Mate, What is your floor like. Mine was ok but the rails were rusted out so I used a nibbler to cut off the bottom of the rails and had a channel section made a touch wider and welded on the original rails. Treated rust and painted inside rails before welding then filled up with heaps of lanolin via the compressor and degreaser gun to coat welds inside and hopefully stop further rust. Check out my build thread or give us a shout if you need more info. New rails for 2+2's from the States were to this pattern so I just got them made.

Arm reats are original colour, Just need to wack a bit of armoral on them to make them shine. Some of the chrome bits need to be redone by that can be wait untill later on. Need something to do when I retire in about ten years time.

Slowly getting the inside finished. Fitted the door cards and fittings today. Sorry one door card, and looks so good had to grab the camera so I can share the results with you. On hols next week and with a bit of luck will get this baby finished.

As an avid reader of the lives and times of a lot of people that have gone through things that we will never experience I find it hard to believe that people like Kyle choose to take this path. Although we will never know what triggers this tragic decision to end ones life we must remain vigilant to recognise change in friends and family members behaviour should they need our help. As Rev has stated we are all Z family members and we should never be frightened to talk to someone if we have problems. As a cancer survivor I know first hand the value of family and friends and the ability to talk to people and get the shit out of your system that makes you think crasy things. Great stuff mate. Can't wait to have the drive you promised me but in another 5 years I might not have a licence. God these projects take a long time. Nearly 3 years for mine and to think I put the motor in last Christmas and still not on the road. At least I can start it and listen to the rumble. For those who don't know and have probelms with stale fuel that create tuning problems I purchased a Por 15 product called Fuel Preservative & Stabilizer that prevents gum and varnish formation & fuel system corrosion. Also stops rust in fuel tanks. Usage rate is in US as 1 oz to 3 gallons and is available from you Por 15 dealer. Works a treat as the Z starts every time and runs smoothly after adding this product.

Wheels were advertised as 15x8 +4 by Ben. Pic is of label on the box and I guess they are +4 as -4 would most likely foul on the strut.

I can't understand why people with total rust buckets think their cars are worth mega bucks. May have something to do with the couple of ads for 240's that are currently being listed at big dollars. Thanks mate now I have to find some tyres to fit the rims. Ordered 15x7 but as Ben cancelled all orders and had 15x8 left over at a unbeatable price I grabbed them. What does other people with 15x8 run on there wheels? Will have to some research.
