i have installed a late model subaru liberty rack into mine as others have said there is some notching to be done on the subframe to make it fit and also shortening of the overall length. i highly recommend the subaru rack but you are looking for abit of $$ to get it done. also need to get high pressure oil feed line custom made, low pressure oil return line, pump and reservoir

i am very keen on getting some cv into the back of my zed, what have others done? have read on hybridz on verious set ups mostly using the 280zx turbo cv but they are hard to source here in oz.

best to measure and check your struts - you never know if a privious owner has swapped suspension from a different car in. i think the early 260Z (1974) are the same strut OD as the 240Z?

thanks for sharing , its good to see others getting hands on with repairing these wonderful cars keep the photos coming i like looking at blogs of rebuilds i must say that the body work part is by far the worst and least enjoyable part of building a car!!! -
yeah i knew someone will pick up on that, i know that the old works rally cars and the 432 cars had black bonnets - i guess i was just referring to all the wannabe drifters with their black bonnets running around on our streets at the moment also i have a 2 seater 260z that gold colour too and have seen one or two other cars - i dont mind the colour but dont love it either

black bonnets have a purpose - they reduce glare to your eyes whilst driving? i have seen truck with the matte black bonnet "mod" but wouldnt have thought that they did it to folow current trends?
