  1. Hi Sean are these still available?
  2. The indicator and the light stalks are on opposite sides , I have both LHD and RHD cars. The light indicator has a round hole , and the indicator slot is rectangular. Probably no reason why you couldn't ulter it with a dermal or cut off wheel.
  3. I'v been meaning to add this for the longest time now. HS30789. A project to be finished one day. Want to do the ZG thing but can not bring myself to cut the guards.! So it's back to original!
  4. My 71 in my avatar had a vinyl roof as well, Buy the way Gav 789 is the chassis number.
  5. It had a vinyl roof !
  6. I have removed these pieces, and you will find they will go back on with not too much trouble! being stainless they have a bit of memory so they want to go back on the same way.[ if they are not seated properly, then it will appear too long! ] The join is at bottom in the centre, start there to remove and end there to reinstall . Just use a rubber mallet to seat them back into place.
  7. Here is a 5 speed button I made, if I can get my mould sent over to me , I will make some more. They are not perfect but I think they turned out ok .
  8. I bought a lot of 4 speed knobs (10) from the states as I couldn't find a decent 5 speed , I manage to find a really nice 5 speed button to make a mould from, thanks to another member in Brisbane. Injection moulding would be the way to go as making them one by one was a slow process, and trying to get rid of all the air bubbles was my greatest challenge . I don't go home as much as I would like , and I miss my zeds as I have 3 sitting in the shed. Happy to pass on my notes if anyone wishs to make their own.
  9. I made these 5 speed buttons with some degree of success , however all my moulds are in Australia and I'm now living in Vancouver. If I get back there this year I will make some more .
  10. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/burwood/cars-vans-utes/1976-datsun-fairlady-z-red-manual-coupe/1070728688 I known it has been stated that Edward lee doesn't known his ass from his elbow! I think confirmation of this, would have to be the new 16" watanabe's on this car . [ i believe they are mounted wrong]
  11. There is another nut further up on the bracket , higher than the welded bolt , from memory 12mm or 14mm. Very hard to see! That's how it is on my 75 260z.

    WTB Flares

I don't want to rubbish the company(top stage) but after 2 purchases , flares and the gnose , don't waist your money.
  14. I purchased that beaver section from the zed store while I was in Vancouver , travelled home on air Canada with it as carry on. Fits up reasonably well .
  15. I have the gnose and the flares from top stage , I would not recommend them for both of these products , they require far too much work to make them fit correctly . Very rough I have some spare scoops if you need one .
  16. Supercheap have them on special at the moment, around the $200 mark.
  17. Hey Jake pm sent
  18. 1971 240z for sale. color white with black interior. body in fair condition, new paint job. interior mostly missing, some good stuff still there. missing some screws and unimportant stuff. nice new tyres. pull the young girls in! takes up too much room in garage, need quick sale. $5000. need it gone asap. car will be missed by owner. contact owner stacey 0419 793 143 no pm's, just ring me thanks.
  19. Fitzy's sounds like a good idea. Go with that, probably easier for most of you. Try a barbeque another day. Hayden
  20. Hey guys, Our place is available Sunday Dec 4 if that suits most of you. Do you still want to plan to do the Mt Tambourine run and then finish up here for a barbeque? Hayden
  21. Hey guys. How about my place in Redland Bay? Sean and Steve may want a break this year? Casey knows we have plenty of room here for the cars and it's half way between Brisbane and the coast. Something to think about. Hayden
  22. I've purchased 2 sets previously of the front and rear strut braces. They are purely cosmetic, the brackets bend. If you want serious strut braces then these are not the ones to buy.
  23. Hi there Does anyone know if the australian delivered 73 240z has a different heater panel to the rest of the 240z range like in the states ? If so will it fit into a earlier model 240z ? One more question , has anyone ever used a US heater panel and selector levers in a Australia 240 and reversed function so that the off is working on the left and not the right like australian cars? If anyone can shed some light on this for me that would be great . Thanks
  24. Hey Rev It's really starting to come together now , I thought those seats would be a big job. looking good . Hayden
