  1. Nifty little coil setup there; should make the engine bay a bit tidier with that! Do you get a good spark with those?
  2. I'll check tonight all my ones that are hanging on the garage wall... I got your SMS, just haven't had a chance to have a good look.
  3. If anyone wants this, last chance because I'll be listing it on evilbay this evening. Need to get a heap of stuff out of the house before the move very soon.
  4. I doubt that...I've seen plenty of 260Z chassis with many different features in the frame as well. Speaker holes, those ventilation tubes that go through the chassis where there are some blocked and most with the hole etc..
  5. I highly recommend getting in contact with Lou Mondello in Melbourne..email someone in the Nissan Datsun (NDSOC) club site or Google to find details.
  6. I can help...just need to have a good look through the "pile". Did you need the speedo, tacho, and the three little ones?
  7. I had a reluctor type L20ET distributor that looked exactly like a L28ET with the optical but was totaly different inside. See if you can use the L28ET dizzy with the MSD; find out the specs on what input it needs..
  8. As above, have a roof turret and rear quarters from a 240Z up for grabs. They are on fleebay but as usual, plenty of watchers that have their hands deep in their pockets. I need to clear all this as we are moving soon and I don't want to haul them around Melbourne again.. Forum special of $800 for the roof and $400 for the panels. Roof is in excellent condition, right hand quarter is good but a bit rusty right at the bottom of the dogleg but fine above the crease. Left one is a tad rusty around the wheel arch and some small areas. PM for details.. Thanks
  9. They are in Pakenham so if you feel like a small drive, I'll be there Saturday morning... let me know. PM me for details.
  10. Should have a pedal box and the air intake if you can't find one local. Is your door pull like a 260Z? 240Z has just two mounting points..
  11. Hah...my neighbor finally joined the forum..Thanks a lot you lot for making him feel a lot like a family member..
  12. I've got a few here..not sure if ther are good though..will have to test.
  13. Grab a test light and make sure you have power at both ends of the fuse; I've seen fuses that "look" good but were broken in behind the metal end caps so you couldn't see the break in the wire.
  14. Shannons auction may be a way to go; they may have a good idea on what price or try and locate a club that knows?
  15. Performance wheels have released the Superlight in a 15x10 now... Should be around the $300 mark (I paid about $231 for a 16x8 not long ago)
  16. Welcome again TJ, Sounds like you have some sensible plans lined up. That's good to hear! Keep us up to date....
  17. You've been very busy! +1 with the burnout... whack it on youtube later on too..
  18. Is it beyond repair? Try a good glue like Araldite or something..
  19. Not sure if you are interested, unless you already have one, but a Nissan Datsun club memeber in Vic has a triple Weber manifold for an RB30 single cam head he isn't using..I can find out more info if you want...
  20. With the guards I have, I have some with fiberglass flairs already installed..not ZG type but looks like home made. I hope they are wide enough to fit your 18's.
  21. With the right lubricant, anything is possible. I may have one, just have to check the condition of it. At worse it may have a hint of rust and holes from a spoiler.
  22. Hey Ross, Is the gearbox a 260Z? I'll have to come and have a looksy..
  23. If your in Melb, I can give you some parts then..Let me know. I have some very avg lens covers if you want to glue them up for free if you want.
  24. If you can't find anything more local, I have some down south in Mexico..which lens covers are you after?
  25. That may not work as the air flow meter is only supposed to measure air flow. So say you're climbing a steep hill, and your throttle is open 90% and there is little airflow, that tells the ECU the engine is under alot of load so it needs more fuel etc. If you modify the AFM to match the throttle, the ECU will be told incorrect parameters so you may get more problems.
