The reason im asking is because i recently acquired a reco'd R180 but its missing gasket for the inspection cover. I called up Nissan, the guy said they were NLA, but i read somewhere that they came on the S13 or S14's i think, not sure. Just want to see if the gasket will be the same on the different diffs. If some ones even got a part number for it,that'll be great. Thanks

Don't know if anyone one here is into the bosozoku cars but i thought i might share this.

I gave up on the pressure bleeder coz i cant get it to seal properly, its because of the type of cap it uses. Better for a screw on type cap. Anyone heard of the Mityvac, its in the states but haven't seen them here yet. Has anyone used them?

If you have one or made one please share your designs and methods. How are you guys sealing MC reservoir? I made one today, its a bit rough, but its my first one, im just having some trouble with the MC cap, i need to get it to seal completely, what can i use to seal it. First pic is the bleeder itself, 2nd 3rd is my old cap which i modified for the bleeder, was knackered, inside rubber was gone, but without the rubber it cant seal. So i will have to use one of the caps i acquired at the wreckers (i feel guilty drilling into it though). 4rd is the new cap. I need to seal the top ring, what can i use?

Found two at pick-a-part, never expected to find any datsuns there, but just my luck happened to come across a sunny. I'm planning on making a pressure bleeder with my other one. Thanks

i edited a previous thread but it doesn't show as a new thread, so had to post something... BUMP I tried repco, supercheap, my brake shop and even nissan. no one has them. Front and rear caps are the same so either would do. Thanks

Lurch, mate. I have read through your write up a couple of times. It looks to be a very straight forward swap, but your total came to around the same price for a front kit. And it would save me the trouble of finding parts. My brother will also be in the states, and depending on the weight, i can bring in the for next to nothing (if he's not bastard about ). But i will start going to some wreckers and having a look, 1980's Hilux calipers yer? *Are there performance pad for the hilux calipers?

Sorry guys, a little off topic but same manufacture's Can anyone tell me if there brake kits are worth while, was thinking bout their stage 3 front kit and stage 4 rear, US$385 = AU$548 and $785=$1191 respectively. Also dont know if break pads are hard to get in Oz for their callipers. I probably will be saving a bit if i find each of the components my self. BTW how much is RobCo engineering asking for a pair of rear adapters. Sach

Was told the mounting holes will need to be modified a bit, to fit the side draught carbs.

Anyone know if the flange the ram tubes attach to are the same for both carbs, ie can i use DRLA ram tubes on a DHLA carb? Sach

It does have the foam face. LOL mine also came with instructions, tried following them Cant do it for a couple days, coz i kinda promised the neighbors i wouldn't work on the car for a couple days (christmas day and then some)... In there defense it does get pretty loud and wreaks of exhaust fumes

I cant get the uni syn to work without the ram tubes, there is not enough air going through the venturi's at idle to lift the marker. Only when I accelerate to a higher rpm. Do the ram tubes increase the velocity going through the venturi? Sach
