    I'm not trying to start an argument , just going off the national standards. Per say does anyone know what ancillary items connect to a vehicle once the engine is done with it? There can be a bunch of emission control items on an engine but few systems beyond. Carbon canisters were not required pre June 1976 in Australia. Any Zed owners running an air pump on their engine?

    Depends on the engine fitted. A 90' onwards SR20 will require the same emission system of the vehicle it was extracted from.

    Doesn't look to bad but once they are out of shape it can be hard to get them right without an insane amount of filler. Perhaps yours would suit somone fitting flares. I do have one i can part with, i'll post up some pictures very soon.

    There is a guy that sells them locally on ebay or if you google your nearest Rare Spares stockist they will be able to order you in one. Check out the rare spares website for other rust repair panels they stock for the Zeds

    I wasn't aware they were different. Can you post up a picture? Perhaps 240Z ones will fit yours? If so there is a certain fellow not far from you who has a set.

    Unless the section is really, really bad i would say you won't need a donor panel as the areas you are talking about are not complicated to reproduce. I've done 2 myself and yes that is the same car.

    I welded mine up on the 2 seater, a much cleaner look and it's not a hard job. Get Cracking!

    Howdy ( i assume your name is graham) and welcome to Auszcar. Can i ask what you mean by savage? There is no difference between the auto or manual booster. However you may like to post up a photo (once you figure out how to resize them by using clever tools like powertoy) so we can have a look at your equipment (mecanical) and offer you an opinion.     Could be the go Wayne. I got some new tricks for the girl throwing out the Edelbrock and replacing it with a Mechanical Secondaries 650 Holley. Also there's the new hood scoop to be fitted soon and the Nitrous kit after i rebuild the engine.

    I have a great one but i'm in victoria. It's been blasted and etch primed. I did send a bonnet up that way which cost $130 depot to door. You won't find a straighter one. If you can't get one up there yell out.

    Agreed young Mr Marrett. I feel better about the car already. It seems the lower quarter pushed up around the wheel arch. I have put away a bunch of parts for the resto including 3 Gaurds, a rear Quarter, beaver panel and a 2+2 rear tail light section.

    Seems like a world away now but i pulled my finger out (plus the tools) and got stuck into Getting the rear straight. Turns out the damage was not as bad as i thought. After it went on the rack it seems the quarter absorbed most of the impact. It must have been a glancing blow. Even the bumper and bracket straightened really easy. I'm looking at a plan to reskin the other door, fix the other dogleg then some other small repairs so i can respray the entire car to enable me to delay the actual restoration for a couple of years.

    Is it a Zed diff? Maybe another member up there can pack and post it Via E-Go depot to Depot, it's pleanty cheap.
