I have a holden alternator on my Zed (oscar) i had to modify the bracket by drilling the holes out to run a bolt straight through, i also had to trim the bracket on both sides to make it fit... 140 amps and easy part to find with an option to put in genuine bosch parts. I can post some pictures of the modification it's an easy swap P.S. it also requires a solenoid wired in too.

Excellent idea. Another photo opportunity and there's a couple of ways to go (dale will say no because there's a Zed hiding up that way) but count me in.

Just a few shots i took today of the rust repair. Monster job for the time we had, dale took some photos of the inner gizzards being replaced too. He'll probably post them up soon.

Gee i scored Big for the day. Lurch and i repaired the Dog leg on my car. He also gave me a heater core from Rev's parts old parts car which i tested and fitted today ( thank jebus for that as i had a hot water bottle in the car on the way down) and also got a fuse box cover that my car hasn't had since i bought it 13 Years ago. Good value for a 500 Kilometer round trip and pinapple donation

Yes, the bolts are diagional on the 260Z, could modify to suit i suppose. Weld one, drill another. -

They only suit the 240Z -

I think we should get a few cameras going and make a real story of it, some mobile footage (lower quality) and we already have the story line. We should see if we can make a real documentary of it, no music, just an honest day out with a bunch of Zed loving freaks. All that are coming might like to try to get an idea to throw into the basket. Personally i'd really like to see some time spent on detailing every procedure in as much detail as possible.

I'm thinking it was the 240Z that has the spray bar and not the 260Z. Whats the head type cast into the head on the spark plug side about 1/4 of the way down.
