  1. Shannons are a god send for car enthusiasts where Just Cars bend over young kids. One great thing about Shannons is you get salvage rights in the event of a write off. I'd never sign up to any insurance without salvage rights for a car like the 240. Especially if you have an engine worth a few bucks.
  2. good price. as an owner i'm glad but as a future buyer i'm scared :/
  3. it's not enough to own a 240 it now has to be a 1970? this does look like a really great example. sure worth every penny.

    wanted: 240z NSW

a restore might not be a bad way to go but then again you could end up paying more in the end and knowing these cars you will. good luck with the search
  5. where is that sucking noise coming from precisely?
  6. ep 10 is out i believe. the movie can be found on torrents but there are no english subs afaik.
  7. congrats Michael! hope this is the first of many z's to come. they are addictive.
  8. welcome aboard good to have more sydney siders around.

  10. welcome aboard! got any chickens you can spare?
  11. glad you de-lurked yourself
  12. made a bit of a montage of this. size is set to suit my desktop but it'll do alright for most widescreens.
  13. very nice. looks pretty tough imo. i'd love that front end. thanks for posting.
  14. bought a glass bonnet skin with a 4" cowel last year off these guys. really happy with the finish even though it's not on yet. quality work and well packaged. delivered as promised on time for the money quoted.
  15. giving up my money now. thanks for all the effort van
  16. what can she rev to? congrats on the figures.
  17. g'day Ray. welcome to the boards and good luck with your hunt. it might take a while but it's worth it. your question of differences between 240/260 has been asked plenty of times. lots of good info out there so dig around. the two biggest differences though are bragging rights and size of loan slash hole in your pockets. see you around.
  18. aye it sure does. they're really comfy too. i would love a 32r for a daily but most of them have been abused a lot more than i care for.
  19. Then I wouldn't have a gearknob... so no. that's gold
  20. howdy o/ welcome to the boards and good luck with your soon-to-be project. what model z are you after?
  21. I've looked at this and there is no legal way to mount them without a cage bar at the apropriate height. As PZG302 said, there is a limit of degrees for mounting them. The reason they don't let you mount them to the floor as per Scando's post is that in the event of an accident the low mounted straps will contract your back and can potantially leave you in a wheel chair. I hope you're still not driving with this setup
  22. that's pretty insane. would love to see what that thing can do when they sort out the problems.

gotta love these engine bays, they certainly are roomy. well done mick, real happy for you.
  24. i've only been out once. managed a 10.9 on 30/35 profile rubber at a best of 126mph. mates keep telling me to go back out with a more suitable setting. it's meant to be good for more (aren't they all). i'm not that fussed though. i know it's fast and don't really need the numbers because they cost a lot of money. i'll get there slowly. other things are priority right now.
  25. You've done well to get it under a tonne. Would love to see it in the flesh one day. Do you see yourself driving this on the streets?
