    Whale Tail

I'm a fan of the ZX-R whale tail spoiler. But originally are polyurethane I think. So a fg replica would be better.
  3. What a difference! What are your thoughts/plans on the chrome work around windscreens and pillars? I've blacked out my b-pillar, but haven't done windscreens. Against black, a bit too much. But red........ different story. (especially once flares are fitted )
  4. Sh1t I've done it again....... Change yo damn avatar!
  5. That's a pretty fair pice Jake. How are the KU36's on the track?
  6. Great vids Hung. Watching a PI vid from 2013, what were you driving then? Why the swap of marque? Unfortunately, its hard for the Z's to be up at the pointy end!
  7. Please tell me something I don't know about this project Jake. Neil must have left out those details when I picked it up from his house to take home, or when it was passed on to Peter Mac in my garage........ I was going to take over this project many years ago. But decided that it was beter off in the hands of someone more experienced like Peter, hence why I connected the two of them together. So if there's something I missed, I'd love to hear about it. Converesly, I'd hate for you to have been fed information that is not correct! We've all played chinese whispers and know how information, can be left off or added to a story. Sorry for the hijack Lurch. The bright side is, you've finally got a good looking head!
  8. ^^ Fixed. Remember. There was no Gibson involvement in that Jake. It was Neil Cartledge, with a brand new rb26 head supplied by Howard Marsden. This was started before Godzilla even hit the racetrack!
  9. What's the deal with these? They can't stay there, as they'd interfere with the manifolds. I'm guessing some kind of cooling passage clearance inside....... Also, looks loki precise porting. CNC job or by hand? I'd guess CNC
  10. Why don't you just fix it and enjoy it yourself Tom? Once fixed up, running and proven. You'll get a better price than how it sits at the moment.
  11. I'd also recommend that all your core plugs are inserted correctly. Wouldn't want to lose one at the track. Or something........
  12. I've been having similar thoughts of recent. Being able to take the kids out and make car stuff more family friendly, rather than my self indulgent hobby...... But I'm looking more 80's Skyline. I say. Go for it!
  13. Billy's offered to have a look for me. Although not for a while as he has work commitments. Not getting ahead of myself Jake. Not a Z
  14. Nearly 80 views Yet not a single response? :'(
  15. Hi guys. Anyone willing to check out a car for me in Kallaroo? Many thanks, Simon
  16. I drove mine at a funday at Winton on Saturday. I posted here about it, but got ZERO interest. Regardless, I had a blast!
  17. I'm not going out in the snowmobile tomorrow either :'(
  18. For the record. This was a very good day. Sure. There were A LOT of cars on the track at once. But seemed to flow well. And having passenger sessions was a lot of fun, spending time in the car and getting track time with someone. Just added to it all. So I actually recommend doing this.
  19. There's a fun day at Winton this Saturday, July 11th. For anyone interested. I'm planning on heading in. But it looks cold and wet :'( More info here http://www.wintonraceway.com.au/drive/fun-days
  20. ^^^^^^^^^^ This guy!
  21. What you're saying Rich, is there's hope for the ZX's yet. I think there's a fair bit of steerer being the key here!
  22. This car went to exactly the right person! Have no doubt you'll have the issues sorted and breaking records soon enough. And it looks amazeballs! But I must say........... 15kg splitter?
