  1. Definately CV coonversion kits for me, but otherwise interior carpet.
  2. Hahaha, good call, but there are none near me so ill stick to power steering and no bump steer.
  3. Really? How much? Yeh does anyone know anything about them? I need it bad for my semi slicks.
  4. 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 simmons fr17s. They wont fit how it is now and i have to take some out of the front of the wheel arch due to the amount of castor im running.
  5. He got me all four for $280. Yet to put them on, but once I finish the engine rebuild.
  6. Merry christmas, I hope everyone got presents for their Datsuns from Santa.
  7. And on the spacer note if anyone is interested: http://www.justjap.com/parts_nhubs.htm I just bought 4 of these (not all for my car) and they are really good quality, bargain in my books.
  8. Hey im glad you posted the pic of the silver zed, i just got bolt on flares and was wondering what it would look like. Very similar siver too, except i dont have a front bar to add to the look (yet).
  9. I think from memory I paid $350AUD all up for front and rear strut braces, not sure if they are making both or the triangle ones anymore, but it wouldnt hurt to email them. The bump steer spacer post cost was $7 and its extremely easy to install, but thery only make them for the front. Its just a case of unbolting the bottom of the strut, insert and rebolt.
  10. I got my ones from www.technotoytuning.com . I beleive they do triangle ones. These guys sell some parts for Zeds that are hard to get. I litterally just received some roll centre adjusters in the mail, no more bump steer.
  11. Hi mate, I have learnt the hard way to do it all, so I know the easiest ways to put at least an RB25 into a Z. PM me and if I dont know then I know a couple of people that can help aswell. Can also tell you advantages of different engines. Scott
  12. I got chills at that end bit just thinkin about it. I might go for a drive now.
  13. Went to roll my rear guards last night, someone before me did a great job of hiding the fact they did a poor rust repair job on the rear left. This left me with cracks of brass aournd the whole area and a tonne of bogg, so Im taking the plunge into flares. I just contacted the guy who everyone seems to get them from in SA, but failing that does anyone have any other contacts for some ZG style flares?

    2jz in 260z?

http://www.viczcar.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=299 there is heaps on diffs here, but i have the Cusco 2 way LSD which is easily supporting 250rwkw, they are very strong, but the Cv conversion is highly recommended. All of the stub axles seem to have the same diameter, just different spline counts, so make sure you have the same spline count from the CV's to diff centre and they should be fine (I have 29 spline count). This is for the Longnose R200 with use of the short nose R200's used in later model Nissans, the other thing to note is to use original crown wheel and pinion gears (custom bolts). I also recomend getting the centre put in professionally so that it is aligned with spacers properly. Ok so this makes sense to me, but probably no one else so if the link doesnt answer the question then give me or any of us a PM. Scott

I'm not 100% sure on the engine year or make for emissions, but they didnt test me, they just saw that a cat (which was actually a resonator) and the charcoal canister and passed me for all that, but i was told my power fc will pass in ACT, so everyone can use my address to get their car regitered and engineered. joking
  16. That's good to hear, hey Canberra has some good back drops if he wants to race an RS30

It's all about the engineering, ask the eningineer if it can be done and usually they will say yes. I havent heard of an after market ecu not complying engineering, but then again Vic roads are the most anal in the country.

Go the RB25!! Its so much easier and made by Nissan.
  19. Hi Matt. Suggest PM Sid, he works there so he will know and he did me an awsome deal on control arm bushes the other day.
  20. Awsome work Van. looks the goods and DEMONZ suits well. Where are you going to base the comic, Oz, Japan?
  21. hehe, what he said.
  22. Provided you are prepared to go to viscous LSD or can find an aftermarket non viscous LSD with the correct spline count then yes. But make sure that someone who knows what they are doing with diffs installs it due to the centre having to be properly aligned.
  23. I paid $940 for the Cusco 2 way mech with about 300kms and it bolted right in, just gotta shop around and make sure you get the right spline count. Both R33 and my diff were 29 spline. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/index.php Usually a diff for sale on here.
  24. I finally got my car back from tuning, now have a Power FC, Splitfire coils, iridium sparkies, dual stage Turbosmart boost controller, highflowed steel turbine stock turbo, 3 inch exhaust, k&n intake, front mount and the cut and shut has produced 249.5 rwkw at 14psi. I took it for a good burn last night here in Canberra and with the new 2 way slippy i can actually get the power to the ground. All round the setup is really reliable. Im going to time the 0-100 and 1/4 mile times tonight.
  25. Damn army and bush, definately would have enrolled, but thanks for the info.
