    I did 230+kph in mine and although i wasnt scared of the handling, i would rather not do it again without a front bar at least. It was fine around 200 though.

    Its actually more like 20mm as the spindle cover diameter is 70 odd mm and the spacer is 50mm inner diameter, thats why. I dont have to run them, but just want to. I would be able to sell them easy and the 2 i have for the back fit fine.

    I was worried about structural integrity, but the guy who would do it for me would know if it was ok or not (same guy who did my intake plenum (can weld awsome)).

    Sure mate, but you have lots of competition, I have only one 2 seater and 3 2+2s. This is all dependant on whther they will actually do the 2=2 aswell, so i dont want to get peoples hopes up, not to mention they might find their own too, like i said, im just trying to get you guys the opportunity that i cant have

    Yeh I would agree. My alloys are 16x6.5 and +20 offset and they rub on the swaybar on the right side at full lock. Speaking of bolt on spacers, does anyone know where to get some that actually fit a zed? I have some but the inner diameter of the centre hole is too small for the diameter of the spindle (hub cover) and it wont sit flat on the hub.

    Well George, send me some pics, you never know. If it is very clean and original, then you might get in there. I just dont want to see the same old zeds getting into magazines like the silver with orange stripe which seems to get shown everywhere.

    Nah hes legit, most of the people here on the forum im on know him in person and from other forums too, I havent met him, but a lot of people i know vouch for him. But yeh it is a good idea to play things safe.

    hahaha, yeh i know, maybe later if i redo the interior and put the front bar and flares on with a cage, he might see it as a worthy cause, but im not really too caring as i built the car for me, not everyone else. If they dont like it, thats their problem.

    Hey fellas, Im writing to you guys as I was approached by a guy here in Canberra who is starting a new mag called Ultimate Street Machine. Anyway, they are looking for a 240, a 260 and a 280 in as original and good condition as they can. So if you think your car is worthy, these guys would travel to you and take pics and I would be surprised if you didnt get dosh. Let me know if you are keen asap before someone else gets in!!     Do you mean an external wastegate off the exhaust manifold? It looks just like a blow off valve, but different function. Hope im not patronising. Sounds like a good plan, you wouldnt need much effort to do it all or money. The thing that would hold it back is the SOHC, so like you said, how much would you spend.

    So which Zed is the silver one with the orange stripes, is that Allan Fielding? That thing is meant to have had over 100k work done to it, but it doesnt seem to have done that as well as I thought it would. Where did the money go? Good to see you up there craig, is that a relative of yours in there too?

    ahh ok. R31 GTS maybe? Im pretty sure they had larger brakes (probly R32 stock brakes )

    Some of the R32 models Skylines mainly early and non turbo were released with 4x114.3 patterns, so that might be a much easier way than redrilling 5 stud disks.
