If the cost is becoming too much, do remember that the MQ/MK Nissan Patrols had 15/16th and 1" masters and all that is required to make fit is to change the brake lines to be fed from the side, not the bottom. They will bolt straight on to the booster. There are heaps of 4wd forums where people are wrecking these plus heaps of 4wd wreckers, so it is another option and it wouldn't be expensive to re do the lines. My plan is, that since i have a Patrol 15/16th, I will get a 1" as well and i will get the lines redone to suit the side feed and then i can run either...

Yeah definately. There about 5 Autronic tuners in Canberra and only 1 official Motec (Bates Automotive), so the tuning side of things is great. I am very happy and with most of the same options (like TC and Launch control etc) as the Motec for around half the price, you couldn't go wrong. It cost me around $5300 for the computer, re wire of the whole car, guage installation and a road tune (still gotta put it on the dyno for full tune) by Russell at Carco Exhaust centre in Belconnen. So I was very happy considering a Motec was $7k for the computer... So if you are handy with cars, you can cut the cost down a whole heap again.

I can't make it anymore due to money restrictions But when its only an hour away at Wakefield Park in 2 years, ill be there for sure.

If all else fails, bring it to Queanbeyan (next to Canberra) and take it to Inline steering and Suspension. Why? Becuase Chris the guy who owns it has a many many years of setting up race cars (he did all the suspension work on my datto). He even has experience in F1 and has one of the best alignment machines in the country.. worth the drive. Scott
