OK, bit of an update: My plans have changed - again! Stage 1 is going to be to get it on the road as cheaply & quickly as possible. I really want it ready for Tassie 2010... So, Stock suspension/brakes. Orig L26 with SU's & a 5-speed box & R200 3.54 ratio. CH plated too. Stage 2 will be a little more extreame after I got some idea's off Vince from NSW at Thredbo... I won a set of 260Z SU's (the good ones) off evilBay! (The Zed didn't come with carbys). So after I picked them up I dropped past the good Rev. Dave's place, & left with a genuine airbox! I had a good day that day... I'm now knee deep in repairing the PS door... I'll be writeing a Tutorial when I've completed it & it's painted

Fishoil sprayed into every crevice is a good staring point. But due to the design of the Zed's body & the type of steel used in them, they are unfortunetly very prown to rust. Sadly it's one ofthe curses of owning a Zed car - they WILL require body maintenence every few years. Steve, get the rust spot treated/fixed ASAP. They will rust even if it's not driven in the rain/wet. Moisture in the air is the main culprit...

I believe I'll be there with one of the other clubs in the 'Shannons Walk' section... No Zed though

Well loosely speaking, 2a is like the Sports Sedans of Marque Sports cars, if that makes sense. They allowed 2a cars to run, when field numbers starting dropping off. Only problem is 2a also makes sports cars like the Readicals able to compete - & they are damn fast!!!
