I think in the next 10 or so years a good 2+2 will be impossible to get as they seam to rust alot more than the 2 seater (or not as many people have look after them) so 2+2 may be a good investment. Ash

the ones from z shop are off a torana so they fit ok. they are a bit wider than the zg style flairs. I have just finished making the molds for the original style flairs (same as the ones on the viczcar pic). I have to take them to the fibrglass guy to get prices but I would guess they will be selling for around $250 a set. Ash

sulio that looks tuff as gav Im working on the flair molds and pricing so hopfully should the first set sorted before christmas . They should be about $250 a set. Ash

I think the reason is when the boot seals or tail light seals are buggered and then with the aero of the car you get the fumes. Ash

I have a mig welder myself so if you have your brakets ready you are welcome to cruse around and weld em Ash

240 and 260 2 seaters are very similar. The 260z 2 seater I think is a better car to modify cause they are usually a bit cheaper than a 240 and they have a stiffer chassis (longer frame rails etc). They have different tail lights and interiour and dash are different aswell. Also there is the 260z 2+2 which has a longer back section and are not as sort after as the 2 seater (and not as pretty I think). You can tell the 2+2 by the sort of hump above the rear quter windows. I personally would go for a 260z 2 seater and put in a lexus v8 or rb26det with some 17or 18 wheels etc etc Ash

HI Gav All the aftermarket seats I have put in are for the race car and I just drill new holes and bolt em in with nice big washers. Having said that I make sure there is plenty of metal were I drill the new holes and that the seats are nice a secure once bolted in. After my crach with the race car I noticed the seat didnt pull out of the holes I drilled(but bent the whole seat braket!!) so I reckon its safe to do it this way. If you want to see how and were I mounted mine give us a yell and I can show you how I did it Ash

if you are after a second hand one I have an alloy cage to fit a 240z that I will probably be selling Cams definatly doesnt allow new cars to run alloy cages anymore Ash

hi Nick yer cars do come up forsale ever now and then. My brother had a car he sold a few months back. You would expect to pay from around $15,000 up for a race car zed (prob 20 up for a fast one!) It definatly works out cheaper to buy one than build one as my brothers cost him about 15,000 to build (not including labour) and I originally brought mine for 16,000 and mine was a much quicker car (better bits like lsd, better g,box better engine etc) If I here of any decent cars up for sale I will let you know.
