  19. haha, I thought you were telling him to buy a Prince Skyline GT-B :).
  20. Awwww... RB26 you won't regret it. :). Fantastic engine.
  21. Could be a good donor car, for those needing a front clip? GRS30 015478 https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/mildura-centre/cars-vans-utes/datsun-260z-2-2/1227174626
  22. Wow, that's very kind of him. Didn't you buy this car off him more than 10 years ago? Should be able to find Rb26 throttle bodies relatively cheaply, lots of people remove them for modern drive by wire set up etc.. forward facing plenums are also quite common, but i'd invest in genuine "Greddy" ones, not the "Freddy" ones. :). I really dislike the cross over intake on the RB25s.
  23. Just make sure any front-cut's are of the same year as this car. There is differences between the early (S30) and late 260z chassis (S31). Marrying up an early 260z front-end on a late 260z rear end is not ideal. These changes apply to both 2 seater and 2+2s. This car appears to have the tall rear strut towers, but the early style front radiator support (with fresh air vents on the inside of the engine bay), also has early style door latches. So I'd be looking at a 74 and early 75 donor car.
  24. HS30 00591 is on CarSales now. https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1971-datsun-240z-manual/SSE-AD-5878411/?Cr=5 PS: How good is it that the Palais theatre didn't get knocked down all those years ago? Looks like something out of Europe in these photos. To think philistines were gonna knock it down...
