  1. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/222411557341?ul_noapp=true Price: AU $2,600.00 RS Watanabe wheels 16x9 inch
  2. I gave you a whole 6 mins head start lol... Actually I wasn't on the site most of the day. I just happened to check it around 9:00pm. Shhhhh... still haven't actually deposited the money yet. I'm actually not sure if it's an original OEM made part or the later reproduction? Either way the price is good. For those who missed out. http://jdm-car-parts.com/products/datsun-competition-steering-wheel-240z-260z-280z-510 http://jdm-car-parts.com/products/genuine-nissan-nos-datsun-competition-steering-wheel-for-datsun-240z-260z-280z-510-skyline-and-more http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/50-3154 The earlier versions were solid spoke like the early S30Z wheels, which are much rarer to find. I may consider converting this 1 to an earlier style. Especially if it's a reproduction. Just another piece of the puzzle, still need to find chrome ring headlight covers, some period correct wheels like Watanabe's, Z432-R rear wing and 87000-U0175 seats and... and... and... and.. it never ends
  3. Send me an PM or email re: payment details.
  4. There's more than 1 version. Good examples here: http://vital.sakura.ne.jp/NISSAN%20SKYLINE%20KGC10%20HP/Recent%20Conditions%81@P-4.html See here also: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/14558-the-ebay-thread-2-post-ebay-parts-here/page-56 Checkman sponsored race car.
  5. I hate you*, I'll take it. Did you get something else cooler like a Checkman wheel? *because I can't say no to a bargain.
  6. Done the same thing, easy to do. Those old bolts are not worth re-using. I had to drill mine out years ago and re-tap the thread.
  7. Toyota TA22 Celica.
  8. I think we should start "Datsun's Anonymous". A few of us here have this problem.
  9. Does anybody want a free Tesla? https://www.facebook.com/rEVolluti0n/videos/1902540566644154/?hc_ref=NEWSFEED
  10. That car is featured earlier in this thread, it was on eBay. I thought it sold.
  11. 510 Bluebird Coupe. https://www.carsales.com.au/dealer/details/Datsun-1600-1971/OAG-AD-14345334 Asking a modest $45k. I wonder which dealer it is? Hmmm... it's not listed by our old friend Phil on his Sunrise cars website yet. I hate how CarSales doesn't tell you.
  12. We had a camshaft specialist join recently. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/15734-hello-from-nz-l-engine-development-240zg-replica/ I would be asking him about camshaft profiles based on what you want to achieve.
  13. Learning quite a bit about heat shrinking to reduce the high spots in the bonnet and get the profile of the damaged side inline with the other side. It's not easy to tell in photos but the shape looks a lot more correct, although still a long way to go..
  14. I can't recall if I shared this 1 already? https://www.hemmings.com/magazine/hsx/2015/12/Pictures-Don-t-Lie---1971-Datsun-240Z/3749199.html Lovely original example.
  15. Anyone here lucky enough to own a Prince Skyline 54B? Starting bid: 128,000 yen. Intake manifold and webers.
  16. Heaven forbid you asked the bloke some questions about a car you want to buy.
  17. Need to make up your owns minds as to why the sale might have fallen through...
  18. Bring a Trailer White/Blue combo early 240z. Currently at $10K 2 days to go. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-datsun-240z-7/ Will add photos later, looks like an "honest" car. Build date: 6/70 Engine No: L24-008668 HLS30 06026 Previously listed on Classizcars.com http://www.classiczcars.com/topic/56417-1970-240z-hls30-06026-for-sale-original/ Comparing with the WA Z Register. http://www.wazregister.com/index.php?title=View_ANZIS30_Register_Cars&chassis=HS30 It appears that: HS30 00019 may have been made just before and HS30 00030 just after. NB: It still has the Nissan 2400 OHC cover.
  19. I believe it's 905 Monte Carlo red, the other orange colour was 918. The PS30's came in all the normal early S30Z colours, it was ONLY the PS30-SB or Z432-R that was only available as 918 orange from factory. However many of these were repainted in different livery anyway. Ando San's Z432-R tribute or replica car I believe is repainted in 905 Monte Carlo red or something close to it. Love the colour.
  20. I had thought it sold already a little while ago. Asking price was $189,000 USD. http://www.fantasyjunction.com/cars/1907-Nissan-Fairlady%20Z%20432-2.0%20Liter%20Inline%20DOHC%206-Cylinder
  21. Yes, it's the solid spoke version for an early 70/71 240z. The 2.4 ltr option came along in 1971 in Japan, the Fairlady 240Z and Fairlady 240ZG, most opted for the "Grande Nose" option. Hence a Fairlady 240Z-L is quite rare, especially in Blue. The only other blue 1 that I know of is this car. I'm sure there are more out there in Japan.

  23. Neither car is going to last long in my opinion. Provided there is as little rust as shown in photos. I want that bonnet on the red 260z Swapsies for fluted bonnet?
