  1. Good point. It's advised. 290-f: Adv duration: 290 Duration at 50thou: 244 Max lift: 495 Lobe separation: 106 300-f: Adv duration: 300 Duration at 50thou: 256 Max lift: .560" Lobe separation: 106 Interesting. Why is that? Quality of new grinds or design of the camshafts? I know it's always recommended to send in Nissan OEM for regrinds.
  2. Whitley is awesome. Gave me some great advice, his suggestion was going with a high lift. I am running stock EFI intake. Might try and fab something or buy an aftermarket intake if I can afford it.
  3. Hi, I am building a mild race/ hot street engine. I am having difficulties deciding on what cam to get. Have anyone tried the Schneider 290f (290/0.495") or the 300f (300/0.560") cam? It's for an endurance race car, so it doesn't have to be streetable. Reliability is of more concern than top performance. Also want to keep the shift light at about 6000-65000, it can be totally dead under 3500 RPM. So far my specs are: - N47 head on F54 block flat top pistons - Megasquirt - Head work (either DIY or professional) - MSA Headers - Some exhaust and loud muffler Car is fast in the corners but those damn E36 and Mustangs keeps passing me in the straigts! That needs to change.... My first post. Seems like a great forum. (Live in US, but I have been in Australia and New Zealand. Awesome places!) Also any preference of Isky vs Schneider regrinds?
