  6. 1 can only hope, but far less S30Z's survive than old Mustang's I'm afraid.
  7. Ian really feel for you, over new years eve this year a golden lab came up to my car after I got home (when fireworks stopped). I didn't know where she belonged so I brought her into our house and the next day went door knocking around the neighbourhood looking for her owners. About 48 hours later the owner got back home and came door knocking and we were able to give him back his 12 year old lab. She had got out in a panic when the fireworks went off and knocked over a barrier at the side of the house. The owner was away for New Years Eve. Anyway I am sure you've tried local shelters, VETS, neighbours houses, perhaps local parks you visited etc.. Hope you find her.
  8. Ashley at Moorabbin Autospares has a Sapporo beer can as 1. Unfortunately you cannot see it here. https://photos.app.goo.gl/3uMb8JpscCcX7J3i2 I think he switches between that and a red bull can.
  9. Now there is a man with impeccable taste. I posted this link the other day. White/Blue C2 Corvette.
  10. Depends on demand here? I felt like the last run I had exhausted local demand. So a show of hands and quantity would help get the ball rolling again.
  11. What about red then? See also: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/13990-1971-240z-original-survivor/
  12. I sent a bunch to the US for sale over there (MOAR PROFITS!) but if a few of you want or need 1 here I may be able to get some posted back here? Just let me know how many. Price will be a little higher as cost of US->AUD postage is high. But let me know how many interested parties there are?
  13. Good bonnet and has magnesium alloys! Rust spots look pretty bad however...I do like them in that colour.
  14. 904 white with blue interior - can't go wrong. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1970-datsun-240z/ I am not a fan of white cars as sports cars generally but I really like the white and blue combo on an early S30Z.
  15. I know I know old thread, but I've been doing more research on these wheels as of late.. Yes RX5 wheels are very similar looking. Perhaps they could be re-drilled to suit 114.3 PCD on the S30Z? Not sure about offsets? The ones being remade were limited and all sold (around 2012) http://www.classiczcars.com/topic/34397-kobe-seiko-rally-wheels-on-ebay/?do=findComment&comment=306522 The photo you have appears to be the later Kobe Seiko Magalloy production run believe that was in the 80s. You can tell because it has the embossed magalloy on the outer rim area. Where as earlier ones didn't have those markings on them. See also: http://www.classiczcars.com/topic/40986-the-journey-of-my-fairlady/?do=findComment&comment=369608 and here: http://motor.geocities.jp/atakausa/miscellaneous.html Here is a set of reproduction Z432 style Kobe Seiko alloys made by XX Auto back (in Japan) around the mid 90's. They appear the same as original except for the center hub area. No holes for the center cap drilled. NB: The raised hub area for the center cap on the Z432 and some export market cars like HLS30 and HS30s that had the D cap here. Here is an actual original (poor shape). and fitted to the Z432 as debuted in Japan. NB: The wheel hub area. Designed to accept these D caps.

  18. I have a sneaking suspicion that the Cheviot Hotwires were dealer fitted to many S30Z's back in the day. My 70 (HS30 00150) had 1 as a spare tyre and it had the option fastener for the spare that was used on the Z432 wheels. So I am thinking it was fitted by the dealer and the dealer ordered the fastener. Pretty rare. Let me dig out a photo of it. *Edit found it.
  19. Nice oil catch can... extra virgin
  20. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/1924-cars-for-sale-3rd-party-sites-ebay-carsales-etc/?p=194206 Australian delivered highly collectible Datsun 260Z Umm..call me a cynic but it's not like there was a mad rush to import 2+2's into the country with the smaller L20A's from Japan.. So not sure how else it was going to be delivered. Easy fix for panel beater. I love these "easy fix" type comments. Everything should be relatively easy for an expert. It's just the cost. Perfect restoration car for a young lad. Why? Young blokes are broke... this will need some coin thrown at it. With 260Zs currently listed online between $35K and $70K, everybody knows by now, these cars are on the rise. With the 240Z hitting record sales, its time for the 260Z to follow and now is the time to buy. Unfortunately, I have 6-7 projects going on at the moment including a few Datsun’s and I just cannot leave these cars lying around. Past performance is not an indicator of future performance. The old I have lots of projects on the go. When in reality he just bought these for a quick flip... Let's be honest. The 260Z’s are one of the easiest and cheapest cars to restore. You can find parts for these anywhere and a lot of new parts are cheaper than second hand parts. Whilst there is some truth in it. It's all relative to what you consider "restored" isn't it? Perhaps I'm being harsh, but a bit of honesty doesn't go astray either I suppose.
  21. Oh really? Clearly just flipping these cars. The old "I got too many projects". Which reminds me... http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/14594-your-favourite-used-car-ad-cliche/
  22. I thought the earlier ones had no holes in the rear? Pretty sure Matt's car is a 71, I've got a few parts off him so far.
  23. You forgot the naca duct in the otherwise nice looking bonnet. . Colour coded bumpers are very 90s.
