  1. Jump on Buyee.jp and search for S54B you'll find you can still get stuff... although it would be helpful to have contacts in Japan. http://buyee.jp/item/search/query/S54B?translationType=1 I loved the red 1 that was brought to Sydney this year (fella with the trailer, full kit and caboodle etc.) I can't recall his name now. But man, what a stunning looking car. https://goo.gl/photos/HRbnvRy8VwYRCE5Q9
  2. Oh yes! If I didn't buy the latest 240z I'd probably have jumped on it. Always wanted 1. Great car if I end up with a couple of kids in future. 2 seaters are a little painful in that regard.
  3. I think so images should be in this thread earlier on. I thought you had bought it.. *Edit found the link. Same car. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/1924-cars-for-sale-3rd-party-sites-ebay-carsales-etc/?p=192415
  4. Power steering kit anyone? Looks electric. https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f245444253
  5. Don McKays Targa car SC Racer, initially built it for Michael Corke by Zshop, then sold to Don who still races it. I heard Don recently sold it...
  6. Yeah 12 gauge garage is a favorite of mine, the scissor lift works with the 911 engine in the rear.
  7. By the way, the car also has a defrost switch in the console and hazard switch in the dashboard, further indicating it was not an AU market car originally.
  8. I didn't realise you painted the car yourself... well done.
  9. Set of Triple 40's. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mikuni-40mm-PHH-Carburetor-Datsun-240z-260z-280z/162785452708
  10. I'm going to update this thread shortly. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/16186-importing-panels-from-north-america-mostly-240z/ I think I'll create a form for folks to fill in and let me know what sections they need.
  11. Yeah I like Grungy warehouses more than polished 'white walls everywhere' type places. Saved quite a few on Pinterest here. https://www.pinterest.com.au/doolan0022/awesome-automotive-workshops/ Might need to be signed in to see them though!
  12. Love it, still trying to find a place like it!
  13. https://manofmany.com/living/architecture/beauty-autohaus-outdone-cars-displays http://www.mfarchitecture.com/work-autohaus Couldn't think of a better way to revive this..
  14. I think that's just the jet cover, I am actually more worried about the serious level of corrosion I see... seller got a bit upset when I queried that on Facebook. Perhaps best avoid this set..
  15. The registration is ECC-111 and NSW returns the following information when you do a look up. VIN/chassis: xxxxxxxxxxxxx0997 I think it's HS30-100997 - but it's just a guess.. If it is indeed a UK car (and with that bumper very likely). HS30-100992 was also a UK car.. See photos here. HS30-101151 was also a UK car.. although I have no photos of it.
  16. My record has HS30-103300 as being the car with L24-183878 fitted and it's about 40 rows in the spreadsheet from the end. So not quite the last .
  17. Hey Jeff, If you have no use for the bits of wheel arch you cut out I am interested in them?
  18. You may have to be in the Facebook group I saved images on my desktop machine. It ain't pretty, heavily modified body.
  19. https://m.ebay.com/itm/Datsun-NISMO-44mm-Mikuni-Solex-3-Carb-Intake-w-linkage-240z-260z-280z-280z-/292355250453?_mwBanner=1 44s on Nismo Manifold.
  20. Do you think it could be this car? https://m.facebook.com/groups/740335446098903?view=permalink&id=1208022769330166
  21. I believe all threads are now merged. Carry on...

    Clock Swap

Even if you could swap the guts out, it's likely to suffer the same Jeco problems as the S30Z ones. Jeco made a number of automotive clocks for Japanese cars over the years. If you look on eBay under the name Jeco you'll see a few.
  23. I didn't even notice, so you must have done an excellent job. I am guessing a light skim of body filler was required after? I have a simple Cigweld welder, but I don't trust it for a task like this, I'd probably prefer to use the Henrob/Cobra DHC torch if I was to attempt this. Well done all the same, the car looks very straight from what I've seen.
  24. Very innovative approach on the sunroof I'm impressed. I'd be a bit nervous attempting to patch a sunroof hole. Did you use Mig or another form of welding?
  25. https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/c634475550 4,500,000 yen (~$55k)
