I thought someone said they wanted a new bonnet the other day.

Here is a contact. Tell her I sent you.  :-)

I have two 240z bonnets for sale.  They are brand new genuine Nissan, in Nissan packaging.  Rec Retail price is around $800.00.  I want $590.00 each for them.  Are you able to pop this in the mag or pass the word?

No, they are long gone! (which I guess you would have found out if you rang the phone number supplied with the ad!)

Considering the ad is nearly 3 years old, I'd say probably gone.. If not sold, gone to the scrap heap. :)

Since they were genuine nissan, I'd say that they have probably rusted into flakes of iron oxide by now.

I can certainly tell you, the last bonnet in stock in Australia was sold a few years ago to Rob at the zed factory.Trevor at Brighton Nissan was kind enough to tell me.

Not quite correct - I bought 2 x vented bonnets from Brighton Nissan in April last year when I "Liberacied" the girl who stopped at the green light.

These were remanufactured from Nissan in mid 2009 from the dates on the part number stickers.

If you look hard enough you can find them (ex japan now)

I bought two so I have a spare in case I have another incident at a green light !

Part number and price?

These were definitely genuine Nissan Dimitri...........(came in a Nissan box, from Nissan and withy a Nissan part number.........so I hope they are genuine ;D)

I'll have to look up the part number but the price was $750 for a vented and $680 for early solid bonnet.

I bought 2 x vented so I have a spare.............just in case

Yep, I also purchased brand new from Brighton Nissan last year, although the first 3 were dinted and were sent back to japan 9to probably end up recycled)

They are still available through Nissan.

:)

This is great information. I just need one bonnet brand new and standard.

Any more information re/ getting one through Nissan is great as I called them and they said the bonnets are a finished line and stopped being available Oct, 2011 onwards.

Anyone bought one after that?

Andrew
