I presume the different 2+2 floors is to do with the different seat support frames used on early vs late versions, but I wouldn't have guessed there are 4 variations.

What about the 2-seaters?

Again ( After coming across another 5th different floor) we have been adjusting the patterns for the 2+2s.

The difference are cause by two factors.  There are 4 different sets of seat mounts in these cars and the later ones have a completely different front floor due to the space for fitment of a catalytic converter.   We now have these different patterns all copied and tested in cars but I will not with these cars guarantee this is all of them as whenever we think we have them all I find we don't and then someone who we then go to the trouble of making a customised set for them then decides to punish us on this thread!  I will post a drawing of each style in the next few days.

All the 2 seater cars are the same but we have had instances with those where customers have wanted a different product to that which was fitted to the original cars as our patterns were made from the original carpets supplied and verified by Lindsay at the Z-Shop

I wish I had read the posts about Ausclassics before dealing with "Stuart". I would not have do so. Paid for carpets,(Higher than the $390.00 quoted on website) in Feb 2021. Plenty of promises but no carpets or return of Money, its now nearly June. Stuart if you read this remember if you keep ripping people off, you may do it to a non understanding person and one day you might regret it.

Sorry to read this.

It's unfortunate that Stuart from http://ausclassics.com.au/ has such a poor reputation for customer service.
Stuart from http://ausclassics.com.au/ obviously has no integrity and no professionalism.
He is best avoided.

Once the carpets in my RS30 became ragged enough to warrant replacement (mainly to do with the grey rubber backing which was crumbling) I just dropped them in to a local auto trimmer and he made me a new set. Simples. That's what they do.

The carpet pile was matched but not with the rubber backing, instead the floor carpet sections have a jute underlay adhered on back. Obviously unbacked strips for the sills. The floor carpet edges are all bound and new button clips for the front footwell carpet turn-ups fitted too.

Granted, on my car the carpet pieces are all flat sections, no press moulded carpets like on my Mustang for instance. And the tunnel has vinyl not carpet.

I'm happy enough with the fit. Not perfect but then the guy only had the manky old carpet sections to work with, not the car itself.
