Hi all... thanks in advance for all the information on the site, its been a great help in researching and learning about zeds.

i picked up a 260z 2+2 last weekend

its a 1976, auto (unfortunately), with the original L26 and british SU's.

The car is in pretty good condition, only a little rust, neat interior and presentable paint

it has had a fair bit of restoration work done by a previous owner.

it is going to be my "fun" car as i drive a van for work everyday.

i plan to keep it pretty original with the excepton of some fatter wheels, lower it a little and down the track a manual conversion..

but first i want to get it running properly as the carbies need a tune. does anyone know of a good place???

here are a couple of pics

Welcome. That's a clean Bus.

Send a PM to 'Peter MC26' on here - he'll be able to give it proper tune ;)

Great to see another 2+2 on tap. These cars are getting quite old now and electronic ignition can solve a lot of problems that one may think is the carburettors, also both the fusible link wires should be replaced with new wires which otherwise can cause flat spots under load. Lynton 8)

Nice find, those mirrors, rear antenna and toe bar look out of place but the rest is very respectable. Hope you enjoy it, Z's are great weekend warriors and lots of fun.
