Most of the datsun's on that first site are from about $30,000 to $80,000!!!!!

I think the Jap's are getting ripped off

No Zeds are just undervalued everywhere else ;).

No space to store old cars and expensive costs in keeping cars on the road.

I wish we had a better system of sending unsafe heaps of shit that fill the road with smoke to the crushers...or to New Zealand like the Japs do :P

bought my Z in japan, not cheap, but rather that than buy a barnyard irish or uk job.

i see the prices on this site and it amazes me how cheap they are sometimes.

maybe its because you have loads in oz, dunno, fair play!

I reckon the US is where they are really cheap, if only they were RHD I could see myself picking up a nice 240z from Arizona ;)

damn awkward yanks  ;D

but they are a great source for bits and pieces that are lhd / rhd proof.

must order some bits tonight... better make sure she isnt looking

Bring a LHD US-spec 240/260/280Z in!

You can register them in Australia LHD because they are 20+ yrs old :)

There are vids of the rocky auto ones and they are to die for. So quick aswell if only.

I went along with them to a park where they did a photoshoot and some driveby shots for a magazine/DVD.

The cars are impressive no doubt, but upclose the bodywork, cages and some fabrication etc was not as good as what you find locally.

i cant remember where i saw it, but there was this white rockyauto car, either a skyline or 240z and it looked perfect, but go underneath it where the metal work returns (i seriously do not have the right lingo) and instead of it being just a turn in the metal work, there was a half inch of bondo / filler or god knows what...

ill have a look for that pic

Bondo body filler and less than perfect body work !!!!!!!!! noooooooooooooooooo what is wrong with the world they look like a specialty shop aren't they meant to take pride in their work and produce quality I mean that is a shock you think they would be perfect examples. What a shame.

$80K-$100K is what a properly restored 240z should be worth, it is only Australia that see's Datsun's as cheap. I will be blue slipping my z next week and it owes me well over $100K. Try restoring a zed with NOS parts and proper body rejuvenation and start adding it up. I have already had interest in my car from Japan as they see the value... Can we all stop undervaluing zeds as they were the turning point for Japanese cars around the world.

I like the price of zeds, it means I can own 3.5 z's and still look at more ;)

Haha wait until I buy one or two more and then you can up the value to $100k. :D

I do agree that they are generally undervalued though.
