Finally the rb25det is in its final resting place.

There is still a lot of work to do yet as it is only sitting there

I find it strange that I am using the same engine mounts as I was using on the rb20 but the engine sits about 10mm further forward. I  happy about this because the gear shift is now in its correct position.

Looking awesome mate. It's going to be a weapon when it's finished!

Just throwing this out there but have you thought about painting the valve covers? I think it'd look great in the body/engine bay colour personally but even a polish would bring them up really nicely.

I plan on  painting the rocker  overs later on. For now I just want to get it back on track so I can go racing.

The fit up has been pretty straight forward. I havnt worked out the wiring just yet. It is booked in to jazmac next week to get wired up the tail shaft is in at hardy spicer getting new yokes. So I am hoping by next weekend it should be drivable.

I managed to get some rego on the 240 today.

I must say mechanical bugs aside. (All sorted now)

The rb25det is a big improvement on the rb20det

The torque is so much better. I won't try it to its full

Potential until after I have it check out on the dyno. I have it

Booked in on Friday for a check up.

Happy days.  ;D
