I think they must have just pulled it out of the ocean.. before any barnacles had a chance to stick to it..Should be sunk and made into an artificial reef...

My spare parts car was about equal to that. I sold it and chassis was scrapped. SIMS must have searched high and low for any trace of steel in it. Sad to see any zed get scrapped though, would have liked my parts car to have been restored  :'(
