On a freezing snowing & rainy day (7deg max !!) we had 5 zeds show up at the meeting place...

after show & tell & and some pics, we coped some light sleet-hail  & snow !! anyway the run was postponed and we drove the huge distance of 500 metres to the local club where we took some more pics in the covered carpark , and then the sportsbar somehow beconned us.

Thanks to Miika, Simon, Michael & Scott for turning up.

That's great guys, I'll try and upload them to the gallery so that all our events are more organised in the 1 place and not hidden in a forum.

I think you did well considering only about 8 of you in total in Canberra anyway.

Looks like you had fun.

lol.  Well, I have been a busy boy with work, so i have been taking little bites at doing the rear flares, however, I am undecided on how to actually mount the flares.  Due to the way my rear guards have been re welded, its too tight in a couple of spots to fit Nutserts, but generally close enough i could probly just drill through both inner and outer guards and use long bolts to secure it.  I dunno, but either way, i have to bog the areas a little as there was a lot of bog in the frist place and now massive gaps...

So I'm bogging atm, then i'll fit them, then a bit of painting, but i just wanted to turn up for once.

Hey Scott, when I attached my flares I used sikaflex adhesive and some very short hex head self tappers that actually have a 'z' on the head (available at bunnings) this way you avoid the whole nutsert stuff and they are easy to get off for repairs by unscrewing the self tappers and using a saw motion with fishing line to break the bond of the sikaflex.

hope this helps.

Rev. ;)

in a couple of places with my flares the nutsert may as well be a nut as i have had to drill through the inner fender also - but so it doesn't distort the fenders by squeezing them together when tightened i decided to just use nutserts on them too

Angelus comes out of hidding. hi all i cort the bus in got to the corner of the cop shop. 5 cops ran out grabed me and took me into custody. questioned me for hours about being a terorist and then let me go when they decided i was more australian then them all put together and more intelagent. ;D

::) lol nah i waz at work. couldnt get the day off seen as the new guy at work that started on monday quit on wednesday. so the boss revoked my weekend and my day off for the meet. next time we should all meet at a pub instead of a cop shop. im to scared to go near it lol.

so once again im sorry for not making it. it looked like it was good though

Well most Canberrans seem willing to travel, for some reason Sydney peoples seem to be way too inconvenienced by going outside their suburb, so I hope you make it worthwhile :D jk

thats because we have to drive our cars in Canberra because public transport is the epitome of the Canberra government. what do you expect from voting the labour government in.
