Rb25det conversion to suit 260z 2+2

G'day guys

For sale I have my rb25det engine with 5 speed manual box has forward facing greddy plenum, throttle body adapotor to use factory throttle body, or comes with after market throttle body aswell, brand new 5 puk clutch, has never been driven using only run on stands using the clutch, it is literally brand new, rear hump sump and modified pickup to suit, minus turbo and manifild and exhaust otherwise complete engine, comes with air con pump, power steering pump, clutch fan etc

Engine has the right hoses you need to plumb the heater core in and radiator hoses

Comes with new braided turbo lines for low mount turbo,

complete aftermarket wiring harness by wiring specialties in America , the aftermarket harness is a work of art,

The harness uses all factory connectors, has own relays for fuel pump, thermo fans air conditioning etc, all of the gauges that you use inside the car, fuel, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, uses all factory speed sensors, reverse sensors for the gearbox, knock sensors, vct, tps, water temp, etc etc when you install the engine in your z all you need to wire up to get it to run is 1 ignition wire, a fuel pump positive wire and a starter signal wire, using this harness will allow you to start and run the engine how it is, obviously you would want to wire all the temp gauges etc but is very simple to wire in

Complete how to wire in is available on wiring specialties website

Comes with brand new Castlemaine rod shop mount kit( engine mounts and trans mount to bolt into your 260z as well as a

Brand new tailshaft to suit 5 speed to your longnose r200

So basically I have a full conversion to suit a 260z 2+2if you have a standard 260z you can just get the tailshaft shortened and will be ready to go

I bought all this stuff bolted in, ran in on the stands then decided to pull the engine and do a body restoration, since then I have decided to go another direction in regards to the engine conversion as

Heaps of spares

I have receipts for everything

Engine has 130xxxkm( bought from

Skyline spares in Sydney)

Receipts for engine, mounts, clutch, tailshaft, harness, plenum etc

I have probably forgotten lots

Also forgot to put on the add I have a complete rb30 series 2 engine I'll chuck in aswell if someone wishes to do the rb30/25 build

Rb30 mx7 transmission

The rb25det boxes are he same length so if you want to use a rb25det box all you need to do is get the front yoke changed (should be around 100-150 for the yoke) and your ready to go

Wow wouldn't have thought to try those, will give it a go. I assume the metal heater pipes on the back of the RB are given the flick?

No used the rb heater pipes

Hi,

Is the motor a Series 1 or 2? If it is a series 2, would consider separating the wiring harness?

Cheers,

Rob

Jump onto wiring specialties and have a look at there harnesses

They do plug and play kits for Datsuns and a universal rb25 kit like I had

They are worth the money for sure

I'm interested in the mount kit?

FYI: Not that it matters now, but new users cannot see their posts right away as an admin (me) has to approve them to ensure you're not a spammer. Should be fine to post from now on.
