Last time I made a claim (15 years ago) they let me choose my repairer and didn't bat an eyelid at the cost.

Pity about damage to your car but lets not call our native wildlife vermin please, yes they can be in abundance but they are unique, my idea of vermin are introduced species, women and child abusers but not our native wildlife.We all need to tread a little more carefully on this good earth.

Our farmers may not agree with you, especially when they find Roos on their crops.

I had roo burgers last night too so there are 2 less of them out there. Seems a bit wasteful that we farm cows for meat yet have such an abundance of lean kangaroo meat that they sometimes have to cull them. We should be eating kangaroo more often.

Only drama with roo is, its infested with worms.

Very hard to farm them, ie drenching, dipping, good feed.

Wild pig/boar, also same, cut a fresh one open, and the wrigglers are intertwined in the flesh.

The stuff I buy from Woolies is "open range" so I assume that means they are shooting wild ones. Have heard about the parasite issue, maybe they have to chuck out a fair bit that can't be used. Also a logistics issue getting them from where they are killed and refrigerated quickly which adds to the cost. Can't be too much of an issue though as the price is on par with good beef burgers, meat is really lean too.
