EJ101 Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I really like the look of the Enkei Compe wheels. has anyone fitted them to their Z? apologies if this has been covered before. Did a quick search and nothing came up Quote
260DET Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Yes, I've seen them fitted to a targa type Z and they look great, would be my #1 choice. Quote
Cozza Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Yep I've got 15x7 0 offset on my 240z. I like the look and the price was good too. RB26DETT 1 Quote
CBR Jeff Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 I plan to run them on my car. I like the Enkei product. I ran them way back when, on my 1600 rally car and we currently run the Enkei product on a couple of modern rally cars. They have proven to be durable and cost effective. I have spent some time chasing a supply of the "compe" in Australia and OS. The current importer for Enkei does not import the compe. When I spoke to him he said he would import some for me but since then I have not had any response from my emails and the phone just seems to ring out. I contacted friends in Japan and also hunted around the www. My conclusion and advise is if you want them just get them from MSA. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/classic05a01/25-1144 At the price for a set of 4 they are good value. A friend just imported a set and all up it was under $1000. They do look nice. Jeff Quote

EJ101 Posted December 22, 2015 Author Posted December 22, 2015 under a $1000 shipped from the U.S?? I recently thought I'd give MSA a go on something cheap. A $20 poster. They came back with $60 for shipping. Needless to say I didn't buy it. Quote

You see most global freight companies charge flat rates for packages based on their 'cubic weight' so even if it's light the length of the tube it's in exceeds a certain dimension and therefore costs a fortune to ship... It sucks, but it also comes down to the distance between North America and Australia... Quote

I have purchased quite a few components from them frt costs are a bit hit and miss but if it's what you need you don't have much of choice. Jeff Quote
