Hi all, am after an "ok" condition 240z tank to use to build an extended capacity tank for the trek zed. Am not sure on suitability of the 260 unit, but if that was close am open to either. Will be looking to extend it on the passengers side to get another 15/20 litres into it.

Hope someone might have a unit availble

Appreciate any info/options

Thanks in advance

Have you thought about getting one made up mate?? I'm in the same situation at the moment. Thinking of going a subtle drop tank style

2+2 tank fits into a 240Z without any mods, but is only a litre or three bigger.

IMHO you'd be better off getting a custom tank made if you want >20ltrs extra capacity.

Are you planning on removing the spare wheel well and reprofiling the tank into that space ?

thanks for the input. was looking at the custom option but not wanting to remove the spare wheel well as the "originality" of the zed is still important. For the events I do, i have two spares on the roof bars and gear in the back. (these events are generally a week at a  time).

PM sent re the stainless unit,

cheers

I think I've got a 260z 2+2 tank in storage - it's surplus to requirements and would be happy to sell it - only downer would be freight. PM me if interested. Cheers
