PeterAllen Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Peter, congratulations on organising what appears to have been a great day, and congratulation to those who turned up to make it such. It has provided a little more motivation for me to make that final push and get my BLOODY THING rego-ed. George 1 Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted November 24, 2015 Author Moderators Posted November 24, 2015 (edited) Glad everyone had a good day and hopefully it has inspired a few folk (including me) to get their Z's mobile. Doesn't matter the condition let just get them out of the sheds and on the road. Thinking next run will be Feb - after the Xmas holiday period. Open to suggestions for a destination, but getting out of Sydney is a must. Possibly Putty Rd or maybe Wisemans Ferry road. Hopefully I will have the Bus on the road by then. Administrators gav240z Posted November 24, 2015 Administrators Posted November 24, 2015 Hopefully I will have the Bus on the road by then. But the BMW convertible looked good on both you and Lurch... I was tempted to yell "Hey Fun Boys, Get a Room!", but wasn't sure you'd get the reference. So here is the reference for future drive days lol.. Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted November 24, 2015 Author Moderators Posted November 24, 2015 Yes we considered that - when I was talking to Lurch in the weeks before the run and mentioned that the drive car would a Champagne Gold BMW Convertible his immediate reaction was. "Aren't we going to look like a couple of poofs cruising around in that " all that aside the 135i certainly gets along nicely Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted November 24, 2015 Author Moderators Posted November 24, 2015 (edited) That's a bit of an understatement!Which particular statement would you be reffering to as an understatement ?How the car goes or how the car looks Edited November 24, 2015 by PB260Z Quote
Zedhead70 Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I apologise for my ambiguous statement not realising you had effectively, in fact, made two statements. I was in fact referring to the second, in how the car got along, not what got along in the car! Quote
C.A.R. Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 And here I was Zedhead, ready with my 'banning stick'... Yes, Champagne Poofter Carriage gets along OK... *cough*Was great to catch up with both new & familiar faces. Many thanks to PB for supplying the Bimmer, organizing the run & putting up with my sorry arse for the whole weekend...!Must beer it again some time...
