Seeing as we are obviously all Japanese auto afficionado's here, I was curious as to how many of you are considering(or have already purchased) Japanese style plates (in either 5 or 6 digit forms)

I have ordered mine already and think that they are an improvement  from standard plates on our classic Japanese rides.

Ideally the 5 digit plates look more authentic but if you are just upgrading your current-standard plates you take what is given.

What do you all think - opinions good, bad, indifferent ???

All my old J-Tin is on Club Permit, so it's a bit pointless for me.

If you rock a late model Jap daily it'd be cool...

OMG we need these in QLD!! You hip Melbournians you

Probably won't be long until the other states follow the lead set by trendy Victorians, but in NSW they will undoubtedly cost a fortune  >:(

we have something similar available now in NSW, they are called Import premium white, or something like that. here is a example:

and 'apparently' there was a poll put forth on some website to nominate another style, and it would be looked at by RMS etc, found a promo poster for it:

(oh and "B" won the vote)

would be nice, but pretty sure i wouldn't be able to fit either of my plates on that "style"
