Great looking dog and awesome name! I have a border collie and wanted to name her Nismo, but my wife wasn't too keen on it.

Nismo would have been a cool name, my last dog was a Border Collie X, still miss that dog. So far everyone loves Datsun as a name, but they always think of 120Y or 200B, never the 240Z.

I'm going to find a Datsun keyring to hang around his neck, might also get 1 of those Datsun Performance stickers for his Kennel, pimp it out JDM style!

200g of mince and I'am in your back yard Gav ???

Yes. but he eats very fast. You'll need more time than 200g of mince will afford you to steal my cars ;).

teach your dog an 'intruder kill word' Maybe something like Rocky, or some other stereotype tough sounding pet name.

Then get that word put on its dog collar.

When the would be thief sees your dog come up to the gate, he tries to calm the animal by using its name that he just cleverly read off the tag and the dog knows he's not a friend.

Would be a good idea to teach the dog to growl and bark, rather than actual attack, just in case...

Good looking dog though.

What breed?

I have a chocolate labrador, but she's scared by her own shadow and could probably only lick someone to death...

1. A Brant immobiliser that included a keypad which required a pin number to start the car.

A Brant keypad system used to 100% fit to WRX's when I worked at a Subaru dealer in the 2000's.

Yea, its the same one as the Subaru's. A friend of mine had a WRX and that is where I thought it would be a good idea.

I take the rotor out of the distributor.

2 second job and once the dizzy cap is put back it all looks stock.

If you ever travel somewhere with the car and need to leave it parked out of your sight, the rotor is no bigger than a set of keys in your pocket.

well on the off chance you catch someone breaking into your car just go all gran torino on their ass's but pointing a gun at low life thieves is considered illegal...... sadly though there are no sure fire ways to stop thefts sure you will slow them down but you'll never really stop them if they want it they'll find away to get it like others have said,

lately though the trend seems to be jacking peoples wheels ive heard/seen posts on a few FB pages with mainly the old BMW's having there wheels nicked and finding a car on bricks the following morning :/

just goes to show this is why we cant have nice things

Oh I don't think it is a trend this has been going on for many decades now.  Given that some people have 3-4 k in wheels on their cars I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often.

Any updates as to what in car immobilizer system people are using in their Zeds?

(I see they are compulsory for owners in WA)

PS : As the Zed does not have a boot this system will not work :
