Hi all

Well it's been 10 years since I sold my 240Z. Owned a few cars since then but none have had such charm as the original Z. I'm ready to get back into one.

Have been looking at the market for a few months patiently but nothing fits the bill just yet. I have budget for the right car - thought I may as well post a wanted ad in case anyone here is feeling silly enough to consider selling theirs :) PM me!

Thanks

How is it all going these days? Have you still got the c110? What abour the MX5?

Good to see you are back...zed are like "Hotel California" 'you can checkout anytime, but you can never leave'

Cheers

Mike for over the ditch.

Thanks guys  ;D Gav, man I miss that car, it was mint, and I never really got to enjoy it. Certainly should have kept it. What was I thinking?

Incidentally... I went and looked at this beasty today - fresh import. Pretty neat car. Anyway, back to the Z. Anyone got one, shoot me a PM =]

I remember when you were selling it and I was thinking man, it's such a nice car he should keep it. But I guess you had other plans, I still regret selling my first Z, but looking back at my circumstances at the time it made sense I guess.

Anyway I also found this old video I think you sent me at the time?

You really have to see these cars in person all dressed up in GTR spec to fully appreciate their shape and style.

What about Alan's nice 260z 2 seater in the for sale section? Nothing to do on that car but just enjoy it and keep it to the same level that Alan has all these years

ditto...

Buy a GOOD ONE to start ... buying a bad one will change your life!!!

A good one is a serious bit of kit .. Alan's one is the way to go.

Alan's 260 sure does look amazing! A really great job you've done mate. However, I am really after a 240 and willing to spend between 15-25k depending on condition. :)

Because he wants "the original and the best", not the uglier sister  :P

Pffttt...........the so called "ugly sister" sold within days of posting for the asking price (obviously $35k was too cheap  ::)).........and given that the 2 seater is virtually identical in body shape to a 240..........how is it "ugly"  :o................what a twat

Hey Al I don't think you sold to cheaply ...you met the market, most people don't, they start to high only to discount to make the eventual sale and wonder why it took so long to sell, there was also a red Datsun 1600 sports that was on the market about the same time as your car he also met the market and car sold within the week, it is like going to an auction establish the worth and look to buy if it goes beyond the business decision walk away continue to analyse your market in reality not what you dream + or - Lynton 8)

I went past your mx5 a few times where you must have been living in Mitcham, it looked nearly as nice as the c110. Have you got any pics of your old 240z or was it before you started building really clean white cars?
