Stivva Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 Next question. The rubber fuel flap that fold down when you open the filler door. Does anyone have the dimensions or even a template the can print? One that isnt in the car they can trace? I will make spares if I get the info required. Quote
Stivva Posted September 21, 2013 Author Posted September 21, 2013 And the thickness of the rubber too! Quote
lightmaster240z Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 I would mind one if you are get them made up Bruce Quote
acf321 Posted September 21, 2013 Posted September 21, 2013 That exact part is available at MSA, as is the chain that holds the tank cap. I bought mine from MSA and its an excellent addition to stop gas hose scratches. Quote

Stivva Posted September 22, 2013 Author Posted September 22, 2013 Making them up today and I have the template. Quote
Stivva Posted September 22, 2013 Author Posted September 22, 2013 I have enough material to make 10. Probably will sell them for $12 including postage. Pictures to come. Quote

Stivva Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 The 240z flap templates are just about done on the computer. But I need to confirm the nozzle diameter size of the filler hose. Can anyone measure there 240z filler neck with the cap off? Outside edge to outside edge? Quote
Retro Z Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 I got 95mm outside diameter on my 72 240z. But you should get a 2nd opinion just in case as my car is a frankenstein of parts. Quote

Stivva Posted October 10, 2013 Author Posted October 10, 2013 Hey guys, If you have received your splash guard, can you let me know how it went. Were the bolt holes in right spots etc??? If anyone had trouble with the 240z ones, did you have them up the correct way, the holes are offset away from the hinges. Would be interested in any feedback. Thanks Quote
