Moderators Zedman240® Posted March 28, 2008 Moderators Posted March 28, 2008 Just curious, I've got some light beer left over from an "event" (case of Cascade Light) Would anyone want any? Before it goes out of date, I'd rather see it consumed than poured into the garden so some snails can get drunk. Quote
Toecutter Posted March 28, 2008 Author Posted March 28, 2008 Yer bring it along. I'm not really a light beer drinkier but seeing most are driving it should go down well for the takers! Thanks, Sulio Quote
warrenz Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 Hi Very sorry I could not get there, left the office at 5:15 in the rain and wind to catch the early train home. At 6:20 walked back to the office as it had stopped raining and blowing, got on my bicycle and rode home, still had a stiff head wind. Got home at 7:00. What a day!! Warren Quote
620Z Posted April 2, 2008 Posted April 2, 2008 What a great turn out (14) we had last night, despite having no power we managed to have a good get together. Great to see you all and thanks sulio for going to all the trouble of the free BBQ and drinks. At the moment we are hoping to return to the Jag club for the next meeting and will be gunning for 20 people. Stay tuned. Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted April 2, 2008 Administrators Posted April 2, 2008 Cool sounds good. Always a good turn out when I'm not there . Last good turnout I was stuck in Hospital (that was about 1 year ago). Did you guys get any pics? Any new Zeds on the scene? Quote
Toecutter Posted April 2, 2008 Author Posted April 2, 2008 Yer couple of new Z's however power shortage in the area was an issue seeing we had a gas lamp running, with Gas BBQ and lap top on battery for entertainnment playing bthe 1hr 10 min version of the Tassie Trip. Low light so no pics. Actually ecellent turn out seeing we had extreme storm conditions up until about 7pm. I don't think Melbourne has seen weather that severe for a couple of years or so. So yer really good turn out taking that into consideration! Sulio Quote
