Hey Gents, instead of starting a new thread, i thought i would hijack this old one. Did you end up finding a replacement all those years ago? I have a coolant leak in the driver footwell, and when i drove the car home when i bought it, it was also leaking on the passenger side. I took it out for 30minutes a few weeks ago, and I am pretty sure the leak is coming from the heater valve/tap. Hey Dave, definitely 4 bolts onto the manifold. Also, "AUD 9" is stamped on the side of the carbs, and "AUD 3347" on the float chambers if that means anything to anyone here

I went through some of my parts before and it seems this came with Ramflos but dont go on the mounting plate well anymore. Did u get yours locally? I assume i would need and airbox for roadworthy though.

Hi all, First of all, I looking the choke cable connector, missing in the first picture. I have found one online, but I am wondering if I can pick one up locally. http://sucarb.co.uk/linkage-parts/choke-lever-connectors/cable-connector-pin-wide-hole-spacing.html Based on photos that I have seen on other peoples carbs, I think I am missing some hose/tubes to the left (front) of the front carb, and right (back) of the rear carb as shown below. Can anyone tell me what should be here? My last question, can I get aircleaners locally? What do you guys suggest? I have the original (blue) airbox for the flattop carbs, but fairly confident they don't bolt on. or if someone is selling the red airbox for the round top SUs?

I am already confused with what i want to do with her. other than keep her period correct, i am not sure. and i think i am going to have fun finding the couple of small things i need to get her fixed. plus the age old thing of time at the moment, football (soccer) takes up a lot my spare time. but yeah, i bought a z to drive to drive on weekends, never been a fan of owning a show car.

Are you talking about the little screw/clamp at the end of the choke cable or p-clamp looking things? i am also looking for both items.

do you just have the one hub/centre cap or a set of 4?

Hi all, So I have been a member since October last year, just after I got hooked on the Z's. My friend showed me Red '74 260z 2+2 that his friend had for sale at the time. The drivetrain was in good condition, but the body had a lot of rust, and the chassis rails had some nice "weight reduction" holes, plus I didn't have enough money at the time, my wife and I were organising our wedding (I'm doomed). From this, I was continuously looking for a Z, up until we got married in March this year, and went on our honeymoon. As soon as we came back (I managed to save money while we were away, maybe because no wedding expenses), I started looking again. Well last weekend I finally bought my own Z from another member, and drove her home. Red '76 260z 2+2. Good enough condition for me, not a lot of rust, needs some work to get her on the road, legally, but a good base. Thank you for the help and advice so far from the members on here, Gav, Groundhog and gilltech. Will definitely have questions to come. Cheers, Ned

In the ebay description for #659 he said he was offered low $30s apparently, if so, he has lost out.

It's pretty low at the moment, just about to end.

So are the S30s more rare/hold a higher value? or are they less popular because of the 2.0ltr motor?

hopefully it is, i am going to look at it this week other than the usual rust spots of under the battery, spare wheel well, and hatch sill, anything else i should look at specific to a Z? feel free to PM too Edit: maybe it is the droid im looking for...

Gav, silly question, don't the Zs sold in Japan have a VIN of S30 and not HS30?
